Hotel is in a great location in the old city, being in front of the Bell Tower and 2 minutes' walk from Huayan Monastery and 5 minutes from the Nine Dragon Wall. Being in a pedestrianized area means there is no traffic noise and is near many restaurants and shops. Rooms are nicely appointed and very clean with a hot and strong shower. The reception is very friendly and helpful and was organized a car and driver for me to visit both Yungang Grottos and Hanging Temple in a single day. The lady at the reception even lend me a winter hat as she feels I wasn't appropriately dressed for the cold weather. Will definitely stay again.

It is located in the city center and close to Goseong, where major tourist attractions are located. It is convenient to travel and participate in tours from the day tour pick-up location of Xianggong Temple and Ningxiang Wooden Pagoda near Datong.

The hotel was very lovely and located in a very convenient area. Lots of famous restaurants around the hotel. The room was very clean and cozy, with a clean hot shower and smart toilet. Also, the staffs were very friendly and kind.

The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, our room was very pleasant and the location just outside the old city was very convenient. Hotel breakfast and dinner were great and getting to see a drum ceremony performed for the hotel on our first morning was a bonus!

After looking around on Ctrip, I finally chose Huazhu Yanzhenju in the ancient city. I booked a double bed in the first entrance. I thought I would stay for four nights and have a larger space. This room is 40 square meters. The courtyard is very suitable for my accommodation requirements. It is located in the lively Gulou East Street, opposite the Guandi Temple, but it is very quiet. If you go back late, you can just swipe the gate access control by yourself. There are three entrances in the homestay, each with different views. The small courtyard is very photogenic, and the three entrances and exits are a travel photo. It is very close to the Nine Dragon Wall. It is just outside the small road next to the Little Wife Liangfen. It is very convenient to go anywhere. It takes 15 minutes to take the scenic area through bus to Heyang Square. The Liang Sicheng Museum is next to it. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Huayan Temple. Zini, Xijin Road, and Yunzhong Twelve Lanes are all close. The room is very clean, and there are disposable bath towels prepared, which are added every day. There is no meal when booking, but after arriving, I found that different sliced ​​bread, milk and daily nuts are prepared every day, which is very considerate. There are two cats in the yard, and they are not afraid of people. There is a water heater in each room for hot water, but it is enough. There are also many plugs in the room, which are enough. If I come to Datong again, I think I will stay here again

The location is very good. It's very close to Datong South Railway Station, Drum Tower, Prince Dai's Mansion, Nine Dragon Wall, and Shanhua Temple. When I was shooting costumes in the ancient city, the landlady even let me shoot in the courtyard, which was beyond the scope of the movie.

I stayed one night at the hotel. I was visiting Datong. I arrived early and asked front desk if I could leave my suitcase whilst I did some sightseeing. The front desk staff told me I could check into my room. The young lady who assisted me spoke some English. She also helped me with booking tickets to visit the Yungang Grottes. My room rate included breakfast which had a wide choice of items. The room I had (1212) was spotlessly clean and had a view towards the old walls. I would highly recommend this hotel for a tourist visit.

The standard rooms of ordinary hotels do not have enough width for two beds, and I am afraid that the children will fall to the ground. The double bed room is even more difficult to sleep in, so I can only book two rooms. But this time when I came to Datong, I specially booked the family tatami in Dadan, which is simply perfect. The floor heating problem in the room is very high. Not only can four people sleep on the mat, but also on the tatami floor. There is no need to worry about the children rolling over. The location of the hotel is also very good, and the convenience store and restaurant at the door are also very convenient. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. If you need anything, they will prepare it immediately. They also enthusiastically recommend local food and shops. I stayed for two nights in a row. The price-performance ratio is really great.
