Nice to be right in the ancient city wall with little snack shops right outside. We stayed two nights and the room was clean and great for the kids.

The best hotel we have stated in China. It was in the city center, close to everywhere, very helpful owner. We appreciated, how they prepared our breakfast when we had to leave at 6 a.m. and the rooms....wonderfull

the location is amazing and the hospitality of the staffs are wonderful, they took care of the slightest details such as the kind of fruits and food you like for breakfast. i have a fantastic stay.

Great place, very comfortable, very helpful staff. We arrived at the hotel at 10 AM and they organised trip to Hanging Temple for us at the very same day.

Very beautifully designed homestay with great breakfast set. Location is superb and convenient within the ancient city. Lots of options for photography, shopping and eating.

Very good hotel, right at the mainstreet. But there is no noise or whatsoever. Room was clean, very good breakfast: combination of European and Chinese. The staff was very friendly and we could check-in at arrival. Which was a few hours before check-in time.
We got presents at checkout.

It was a very lovely hotel in the pedestrian area of Datong. The staff is very friendly en although they dont speak English, they have a translation device, making sure communication is possible. The hotel itself is pretty and so is the room. The one thing to consider when traveling as friends is that the bathroom isn't in a seperate area, although there is a screen to make sure you get some privacy. Not something negative, just something to consider.
