The hotel was well located. The room exactly like it was described online. We reserved two rooms without windows for one day it was cost efficient! Unfortunately I could not reserve directly 4 breakfast online only two (one per room), we have to pay directly at breakfast for the two others one. We stop at Datong to visited one of UNESCO site and see the all Datong city. We thought more foreigners will visit this beautiful small city. No one speaks English (and that’s ok) but for a 4 stars hotel the front desk lady looks a bit lost with the check in procedure for foreigners (and I work in a 5 stars hotel in beijing so I know the procedure as a French working in China). Also, the isolation is bad, the front desk already inform us upon check in but we did not thought we will heard even the other room bathrooms flush. Thank you for this night your hotel is beautiful

Good hotel, nice staff, good location, good breakfast (at least a lot of different options). Only thing is that the room insulation is poor and you can hear everything that happens in the corridor.

Good location, quiet and comfortable room with views of the city gate. Was asked all kinds of questions when checking in (where I was going, what I was travelling for, where I was coming from and how I got to Datong. They even asked to see my train ticket!). Being interrogated on arrival doesn't feel very friendly, and nowhere else in Datong or other parts of China was I asked these questions.

Our stay was excellent. We particularly appreciated the services of the housekeepers Ms Du 杜金燕 房務中心領導 and Ms Li 李立苹 房務清潔員 and also a Ms 崔 who were most professional, courteous and promptly responded to all our queries and needs. We would love to stay here again if we come by Datong again.

This time I went to Datong and chose Weidu Hotel. The room was really big and clean. The breakfast was rich and varied. The shaved noodles were delicious. The service was also very good, especially the head waiter ** Hui. He took the initiative to give us water and lotion when we were about to check out. We were really touched. I will choose his hotel next time I go to Datong.

1. I booked a room for two days, but I didn't expect that I needed to cancel one day of accommodation because I neglected to book the Yungang Grottoes tickets in advance. The hotel was very understanding and allowed early check-out, which was very humane. 2. It can be said that the high-rise hotel closest to the ancient city of Datong in the south can indeed see the ancient city wall. It is only about fifteen minutes' walk away, so it is not far. 3. The hotel service is very good. Whether it is hotel supplies or millet porridge for midnight snack, they are all delivered enthusiastically. 4. The ground parking lot is a little crowded, but as for the underground parking lot, it is no problem for small cars, but for a 7-seater commercial vehicle, you need to choose a good location, otherwise it will be difficult to drive out. Parking is still very convenient. 4. The breakfast is very convenient and has local characteristics of Datong.

The hotel is located in the business district, a few hundred meters away from Parkson Hygiene: Really clean Facilities: Disposable items are adequately prepared

The breakfast is OK, the facilities are relatively old, and the price is very reasonable. The location is quite convenient, there is a bus stop at the door, it is also convenient to take a taxi, and there are large shopping malls such as Parkson nearby.

It is close to the ancient city, and you can walk to see the musical fountain at night. The toiletries provided are very ordinary, just the small bottles used in ordinary hotels. The breakfast is rich and has many varieties.

The environment is good and the room is big, but the breakfast waiter was indifferent. We stayed for 2 nights. The child was charged 38 for breakfast on the first day and 58 for breakfast on the second day. He also asked us to show the consumption record of the first day. His attitude was indifferent and very rude!

The hotel we chose for our Qingming trip is very close to the ancient city of Datong, and the environment and facilities are also good. Aunt Xu, the cleaning lady, was very considerate and prepared bitter osmanthus tea. It is especially worth mentioning that the breakfast is delicious!

When we first arrived, the parking lot staff took the initiative to guide us to park. When checking in, we were assigned a north-facing room with a view of the ancient city, and a warm porridge supper. The housekeeping department enthusiastically provides quilts and other supplies. When checking out, the sister from the housekeeping department gave us plenty of bottled water. Really good reviews.
