Homeinn Selected Hotel (Datong Weidu Avenue Gucheng Beimen)

We brought our pets with us. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the process, and the room was super clean.

Home Inn and Hanting share a building. The Hanting lobby is spacious and bright, while the Home Inn's is quite dim. The room had a strange odor, a mixture of cigarette smoke and bathroom sewage. The hotel must have known about this, as they'd probably sprayed the bathroom with a lot of air purifier, which was quite pungent. The air conditioning in the room wasn't very effective, not cooling at all. Regarding cleanliness, the sheets had unwashed stains, and the large bath towel was very old and discolored. The next morning, we rushed to check out at 6:30, but the waiter was still sleeping in the lobby, while the Hanting staff next door were already greeting guests and cleaning the courtyard. The gate for our car to exit the courtyard wouldn't open, and we couldn't find the waiter, delaying our trip. Finally, we had no choice but to contact the Hanting staff. The funniest thing was that Home Inn called back that afternoon to ask if we were satisfied. When we said we weren't, the waiter was speechless and simply hung up... It was hilarious. We were so disappointed with Home Inn.

The breakfast is delicious. I will book this restaurant again when I come to Datong.

The room is large, the service is good, and the environment is beautiful
