Tangfang Courtyard (Datong Old City)

Very nice modern Hotel in Datong old town. Liu and Leaf have been very friendly and supportive. The breakfast was varying every day and very delicious. Really comfortable place to stay while in Datong.

Our room was absolutely fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and conveniently connected to a playroom. Our kids were thrilled, and we were able to relax knowing they were happily playing nearby. The setup was perfect for our family, allowing us to rest while still keeping an eye on the little ones. Liu, in particular, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to assist us, even arranging a smooth transfer to the train station when we checked out. The hotel itself was excellent: modern, clean, and very comfortable. Its central location made it easy for us to explore the city without hassle. We highly recommend this place for families looking for convenience, comfort, and outstanding hospitality!

Very nice and comfortable hotel in the heart of Datong ancient city. The staff is wonderful. Despite the fact that we don’t speak Chinese, they helped us from the arrival until the departure: organising transportation, trip to the suspended temple and the wooden pagoda, amazingly good breakfast, Liu is the perfect host!

The stay here is awesome!! The place is in the center of ancient town and easy to get. Hosts (Ms.Liu and Yezi) are very friendly and warm hearted. The room is clean and cozy and warm, though it’s -15 degree outside! Hosts also provided handful advise for travel here. It was excellent! We stayed as a family with two small children. The location is perfect!

Super clean, located in the heart of the old city. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend this place.
