The staff are friendly but less enthusiastic. The food which provided in restaurant was expensive but with less variety and quantity. The room is clean but with a lot of flies.

5/5 Stars We had an unforgettable stay at Udaan Himalayan Suites and Spa! The architecture and ambience were stunning, with breathtaking views of snow-capped Mt. Kanchenjunga. The staff, particularly Yankila Tamang, provided exceptional service with warm hospitality. Housekeeping was impeccable. However, some areas for improvement: WiFi connectivity was patchy, Tata Sky setup box wasn't working, and room amenities like slippers and hair dryer were missing. Adding recreational activities like books, newspapers, table tennis, pool table, and carom board would enhance the experience. Overall, Udaan's natural beauty and excellent service made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Staff was great— helpful and friendly. The hotel is strictly veg with no alcohol. So if you are looking for some eggs, meat or beer, you are out of luck. The room had a nice balcony with a fantastic view of the 3rd tallest mountain in the world — kangchenjunga. TV had remote control issues which was irritating. Close to taxi stand and a few hundred yards from the train station.

Amazing Property… everything was just perfect. The staff, the rooms, the food, cleanliness…. Not one thing I can raise a finger on.. anytime I visit Darjeeling, I would only stay here. Even the location is amazing, and not to forget the amazing view from the balcony rooms

This is a good base to explore Darjeeling, on a main road so no need to carry luggage up a hill and close to the 'Toy' Train station and not too far to walk to the centre of Darjeeling. The rooms are very good and the hotel has an excellent vegetarian restaurant where you also have breakfast

It was one of my best stay experiences recently. Location: The location is very near to Darjeeling railway station - about 300m. Mall road is about 1-2 km away, that should about 20 minutes on foot; besides, cab is available from railway station - costs around 300 INR to Mall road. I will give the location 8/9 out of 10. Rooms: I had booked Kanchenjunga View Suite. The room was spacious and had a wonderful mountain view. There was a decent sized balcony overlooking the mountain and the valley, with sitting arrangements. The room had a large screen TV unit with OTTs installed. The room decor was impressive as well with good lighting. The room had all required amenities such as heater, centralized ac, electric kettle, wadrobe, study table, attached bathroom - clean and spacious, etc. I will rate room 9 out of 10. Cleanliness: I was very impressed by the cleanliness and the housekeeping. The housekeeping staff takes great effort to keep the hotel clean, and that deserves a shout-out. I would rate 9.5 on cleanliness. Hospitality: Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and polite that it is a delight to interact with them. They never forget to greet a guest whenever they meet in the hallway or in the lobby. They are very professional and provide exemplary service. I would rate 10 out of 10 on hospitality. Food: The restaurant is called Grains and is a pure veg restaurant. It might be a disappointment for non-veg lovers, but after experiencing a 4-day stay, I would say I have no regret. It is rather a delight. The quality of the food, even though all veg, is excellent. It also has a decent choice of menu. The breakfast is delicious and has a very good spread. I liked the breakfast so much so that it was too an attraction for me. Even though it is pure veg, I still had a great dining experience. Every evening, there is a live performance event and a buffet dinner at the restaurant. I would rate food experience 8 out of 10. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a customer's delight. I am eagerly looking forward to staying in this hotel when I visit Darjeeling again. I would rate the hotel 9 out of 10.

Nice hotel. Location on a busy street but is good. Rooms are well furnished and spacious. Excellent staff at the reception who seemed genuinely helpful, I forgot the names may be Prashant? And the lady colleague. Breakfast had good vegetarian variety and very helpful staff. Value for money hotel.
