Jungle hut is a pretty decent place to stay. The surrounding is very calm and it is a nice experience. We stayed there with our kids for a couple of days. They enjoyed it very much. The facility manager is very helpful and the staff is very professional. The breakfast was great.

Hôtel qui porte bien son nom, dépaysement garanti avec des chambres originales (nous avions un arbre qui passait dans la chambre ! ) la piscine est petite mais elle avait l’air sympa (il a plu les 2 soirs où nous y étions). Le reveil est assez matinal par le bruit des animaux mais c’est ce qui fait le charme de l’hôtel. La cuisine est excellente préparée par une équipe de jeunes, il ne faut pas être pressé mais l’ambiance est sympa.

Superbe accueil malgré l heure arrivée tardive. Le personnel est au petit soin. Repas dans le restaurant excellent et très copieux . Chambre atypique propre dans la campagne . Moment de dépaysement garantie. Petit déjeuner de qualité avant de reprendre la route.

Great place. Spacious, air conditioned rooms, good food at a decent price, owner is a cool guy. Also got a nice pool. Great little road for taking an evening stroll, also. Only a couple minor drawbacks. One is the wifi is a bit weak (almost nonexistent, actually) near the front of the building. But another router there and it’d be no problem. Another is location. It’s about half an hour from Sigiriya and Pidurangula, so you will need to get up a bit early for the sunrise hikes. But then again, this location is quiet and peaceful, not crawling with tourists and suffering from noise pollution, so it’s a great little retreat after a long day climbing and snapping pics.

What an experience. An amazing place, jungle style but very clean and modern. Our room was huge, with a tree going into the sealing, pool area, reastaurant and bar. Apart the amazing place, we were welcomed by the host Suni and his entourage of co-workers who made our stay warm, carefree and special. We did the Village safari and later on Elephant safari, organized by Suni. Great location for the rock mountain as well as a Ceremony dance, really highly recommend this place, get yourself guided to get there, avoid sideroads.

Siamo capitati per caso in questa struttura durante un viaggio itinerante auto-gestito. Struttura in legno aperta di recente, meno di 2 anni, immersa nella natura. Camere pulite e accoglienti! Il fiore all’occhiello è stato il proprietario Sami, gentilissimo e super disponibile come i ragazzi che lavorano nella struttura. Ci ha organizzato benissimo le escursioni e i trasferimenti, anche con poco preavviso! Cucina semplice, tipica cingalese e molto buona, sia la colazione che la cena, sempre ricca e attenta alle richieste. Assolutamente da non perdere.

Nei miei 60 viaggi all'estero non mi ero mai trovato così bene. La struttura si trova a pochi minuti di macchina (o di tuc tuc) dalla famosa roccia. Le camere sono enormi, belle e pulitissime. Non ho sentito il bisogno di andare a mangiare fuori perché, in tutto questo viaggio, non ho mangiato così bene da nessuna altra parte. Mi sono sentito coccolato. Il proprietario ha una attenzione verso i clienti che è superiore alla professionale cortesia. Per questo lo ringrazio, assieme al direttore ed a tutto lo staff, di avermi fatto sentire a casa. Con incredibile cortesia, accontentando tutti gli ospiti di varia nazionalità, ci ha accompagnato e ripreso a fare le escursioni. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è veramente buono. Molti vanno a spendere il doppio in strutture più conosciute ed aperte da tempo. Io ho voluto provare il jungle hut resort Sigirya, aperto da poco, ed ho scelto veramente bene. Se guardate le altre mie recensioni vi accorgerete che non sono un turista occasionale e per questo molto realista nel descrivere i posti in cui vado. Per questo vi consiglio questo splendido resort nella jungla. Io sono andato via veramente soddisfatto.
