Honestly can't think of a way do describe how incredibly friendly and helpful the owner is, such a lovely person! The hotel has a perfect location as it's near to the ancient town and not too far from the lake. The wifi worked perfectly. I can highly recommend!!!

If you want a comfortable, quiet and clean place, near the bus station that connects Dali ancient town from Dali city, also a place close to the entry of the old town, then Magnolia Inn is the perfect place. The host is a little angel. She knows English and she was very helpful in so many ways. From helping us with food and drink suggestions to book a didi car to our next destination. We will not forget our stay here and we will return.

This hotel was perfect for me. I liked that it was just outside the old city in a really cute neighborhood, it was super convenient. The best thing about it though id the host, DJ. She helped me so much even after I checked out she helped me book a bus from a different city. Thank you so much and I’ll definitely come stay here again the next time I’m in Dali!

Owner can speak English most convient for foreigners. Stay was friendly, hotel owner helped a lot and suggested good place to see and to eat. Place is very close to ancient city, around the hotel you will get ebike for rent, breakfast to eat early morning. Feel like home. Highly recommended for family.

The room was neat and clean! The owner was very friendly towards us! She guided us to many places! Would love to visit Dali and stay there again!

Highly recommended! The location is excellent. You can see Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake as soon as you go out of Dali Line. The room is very clean and sanitary. The weather in Dali is super fun and very happy. The housekeeper service is considerate and thoughtful. There are many breakfast rice noodles nearby, which are super good! The rooftop terrace is a must-go for taking photos and checking in. It is very cost-effective and is the first choice for couples and families. I will stay here again next time~

It is more than 100 meters away from the No. 8 bus stop and 3 minutes walk to the ancient city. The room is very clean, and there is sunshine in the room from morning to afternoon. It is so comfortable. You can see Cangshan Mountain from the roof. I sleep until I wake up naturally every day. In the afternoon, I go to the Erhai Lake to drink coffee and watch seagulls basking in the sun. I don’t want to leave after staying for a few days. The boss is super nice and very enthusiastic. He will answer any questions. The boss said that it is the off-season now, and the price-performance ratio is very high. It is recommended to stay here when visiting Dali.
