Dali Garden Homestay

The room has a stunning view to Erhai lake. Good location so you can enjoy the view and walk by the lake. Breakfast and afternoon tea set were well-prepared and good. The staffs were very supportive and nice, prompt response to your inquiries.

Wonderful and prompt butler service. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Quick in response to our questions and offered help to rent the scooter for sightseeing. We met with a challenge during the scooter returning; he ran all the way to our parking lot to help us resolve, thinking for us so that we didn't have to incur extra costs. Simple breakfast but filling. Peaceful environment and fantastic erhai lake view from the room. Simple room amenities but still give you a comfortable stay. To be honest I prefer here than the famous S-bay area which is too crowded with tourists and is full of continuous advertising announcements. Highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful stay.

Service was 11/10! The staff at the front desk was always very warm and attentive. 前台小哥 gave us good advice on our itinerary and helped to arrange for direct pickup and transport to Lijiang hotel. I lost my sunglasses at a restaurant in Dali and he had helped to contact the restaurant and arrange for my sunglasses to be picked up and delivered to my Lijiang hotel. I’ve never received better service in all my traveling experience. Breakfast was also very yummy and served promptly everyday and the 2 ladies in the morning are also very pleasant. Also, the room was very cozy and equipped with all the latest amenities and a projector. Bathroom was heated and the room has a great view of Erhai.

The hotel's good service started before our stay. We connected on WeChat to arrange their collection of my TaoBao shopping, which was done seamlessly. They also guided us on how to make our way to the hotel - we took Didi from Dali railway station. Check in was smooth and we were immediately shown our room. The staffs gave a detailed room introduction. The room was bright and clean with all the amenities you can expect. The hotel is well designed and has an infinity style view of Erhai. The real boss of the hotel is actually a cat. Wanzi is the highlight of our stay. He is so well-behaved and sweet, greeting us every morning and evening. We were offered complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and a ride to Dali railway station on the morning when we checked out. The staffs really felt like our siblings - they were ready to answer any of our questions via WeChat at any time of the day - even recommended us their nearby bbq sticks shop. One tricky thing was with Didi we could not find drivers easily. The roads through the village are narrow and could be tactical for bigger cars. The roads are also closed for certain periods of the day when the mini wet market was operating in the village.
