The Ancient City with Wind and Snow of Floral Island

I had a very pleasant stay at The Ancient City with Wind and Snow of Floral Island. The hotel is set right on the edge of Erhai Lake, and the view from the property is absolutely beautiful—waking up to the lake each morning was a real highlight. The room itself was tastefully decorated with a modern style that created a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall room size felt spacious and well thought out. I also appreciated the wide range of amenities provided; everything was fully restocked each day, which made the stay feel consistently fresh and convenient. One area that could be improved is the bathroom design. It functions more like a wet room, so after a shower, water tended to spread across the floor, which made it a bit slippery. While manageable, a more contained shower area would make the experience more comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely stay with great views, thoughtful touches, and comfortable accommodations. I’d happily return.
