Dali Hotels with Gym

The hotel is in great location and the room has great view with a very comfortable bathroom layout (very spacious). The only thing is that the staff at check in and check out took our money. We booked 3 rooms in total and we paid in full at check in. Despite payment with credit card, the staff asked each of us to pay extra RMN1000 per room as a deposit in cash. At check out, no damage was found and they returned our deposit but all the 3 rooms only got RMB900 back. The staff could not speak English and even we could speak a little Chinese, the communication and the explanation is not understandable why we were deducted RMB100 per room total of RMB300 on top of the full payment. Other hotels will just block the credit card as deposit which is standard but when I asked if they can just use credit card that we paid to block the deposit, they said it could not be done. Moreover, when we paid RMB3000 deposit for 3 rooms, we counted RMB100 x30 to the staff. The staff took the money to another location saying they had to use the machine to count, then she came back saying there was only RMB2900. I guess she also took another RMB100 from the cash deposit. (Check in time was on April 10 at 10.30pm and check out time was on April 12 at 9.40am)

A 10 minute taxi from the old town. Great service and a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Buffet style with lots of options for Chinese or plenty of Western options too. Reasonably priced and great views of the lake. After a day walking around the old town or hiking on the mountain it was nice to return to the peace and quiet of this hotel.

Honglongjing Hotel is a treasure hotel with excellent service. The waiter came to pick us up at the parking lot and arranged a relatively large room for us. In particular, there is a rooftop garden overlooking the ancient city of Dali. It is convenient to go to nearby attractions. It is very clean and has racks for drying clothes. The breakfast is not bad. There is a water bar with resident singers at night. Recommended to everyone.

The front staff are helpful. The room mattresses are so far the best in our recent trips to China. General manager miss Wendy is very friendly and accommodating. Great!

Facilities: Bathtub, washing machine, smart toilet, overall good, disposable bath bags, laundry beads are also replenished every day. The only drawback is that the hot water is not hot enough on the first day of stay, the bath is getting colder and colder, maybe someone gave feedback on the second day and it was improved Holiday style afternoon tea: stayed for two days, no one asked if it was needed/when it was needed, and finally checked out without using it. Good night milk was also available after asking, basically it feels like the hotel pretends that it doesn't exist if the guests don't ask Double Minibar first round: It's just 4 bottles of common drinks of about 200ml (Coke, Sprite, iced black tea, etc.), and a bag of potato chips and a few biscuits Butler service: I guess the butler is new to the industry, and every time I ask something, I feel a little flustered, but it's also hard to help carry the luggage to the third floor Environment: The view is great. Living on the third floor, there is Erhai Lake outside the window, and you can see the sea view while lying on the bed. It's not far from Ideal Country, and the surroundings are relatively quiet, suitable for rest. But it's a bit far from the ancient city and Cangshan Mountain, and it's tiring to drive back after playing at night

A more traditional hotel, the first choice for tour groups, convenient parking, and average breakfast. Some rooms on the 6th floor are noisy, and I changed rooms twice before I got a quiet one. It is said that there is a water pump on the roof, so be careful. The price-performance ratio is good. If you don't need to see the sea, you can stay here

We really enjoyed our short stay in the Linden Centre. Great location in the middle of rice field at the outer edge of the ancient village Xizhou. The staff did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. As the daily Center tour wasn’t available in English, the owner Brian jumped in and gave us a 20 minute introduction. We can highly recommend this place if you want to learn about the culture and be close to the beautiful nature at Erhai lake.

This guesthouse is located right by Erhai Lake, offering stunning, authentic sea-view rooms. The butler provided exceptional service, reaching out a day in advance to arrange the check-in process and recommending local delicacies. The room views are breathtaking, with Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain stretching as far as the eye can see, while seagulls and wild ducks play on the water’s surface—a scene straight out of a painting. The room is fully equipped with all necessary amenities, including disposable items for convenience. The guesthouse also features a lakeside restaurant and picturesque photo spots, perfect for capturing memorable moments. If you’re visiting Dali, I highly recommend staying in Shuanglang for a few nights, and once in Shuanglang, don’t miss the chance to visit Tinghua Island for a different experience.

The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable and location is alright. Good option if you don't want to stay inside the old town as it gets too busy. Our bathroom had some leakage which was partially solved. But my biggest disappointment is that we chose this hotel because it shows as having an outdoor pool but it's actually just a water feature. It shouldn't show in the search results when you filter hotels with outdoor pools, as it's not a pool.

I checked the guide online and they all said that you can choose a hotel on site during the off-season. However, we were traveling as a family and decided on this hotel online in advance. You can drive directly to the hotel entrance and parking is convenient. The room is about 30 square meters. , the lighting is very good, mainly because it has a large rooftop. In the morning, we watched the sunrise directly on the roof. I must recommend this to everyone.
