Evolution Dive and Beach Resort

Excellent facilities, clear warm water and plenty of marine life, micro and macro. KEVIN is an excellent dive guide: attentive, knowledgeable, patient, considerate and helpful: an expert in his field. Food and drinks are good and bar staff very friendly and professional. Nitrox available. Boats are well equiped and all staff are approachable and helpful. A wonderful experience. We would like to return.

Sadly for us, tonight is the last of our 6 night stay. Simply loved it. We chose the standard room and they are absolutely fine; spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beach front is simply heavenly; beautiful sand, the sea is crystal clear for the first 10 metres and comfortable sun loungers and parasols. The photos don’t do the bar / restaurant justice; lovely facility, great vibe, competitively priced. The food was absolutely fine without being anything special but that is the par for this yet to be commercially developed island. Breakfast was very good; choice and quality. Really well run place, right number of staff and attentive with the management visible and helpful (Nick). Highly recommend.

Malapascua is a not-to-be-missed diving destination and Evolution resort is the right place to explore it. We spent four days in Malapascua at Evolution resort and it was amazing! The service is perfect: starting with pre-booking communications, continuing with travel organization, the food, cleaning staff, receptionists, you name it - all were professionals and client-oriented. Especially, I want to thank the dive masters and boats staff. You made our dives incredible! Guests have opportunity to dive on huge variety of dive sites, four days were barely enough to visit just the most important of them, so longer stay could allow us exploring other, not less interesting - I’m sure - sites as well. But one site should not to be missed at any cost: Kimud Shoal is one of absolutely best dive sites in the world: threshers (of course!), but also black tips, barracudas, octopuses, morays, mantis shrimps and more and more. Such a beautiful place!

Best diving in the area. Trustworthy, professional dive staff were top notch. Met some great friends. Was a nice chill vibe and we never worse shoes the whole time so consider that a win.

We just finished a 10-day scuba dive trip on Malapascua Island in the Philippines at Evolution Beach and Dive Resort. Our sole purpose was for the opportunity to see thresher sharks, which exceeded our expectations! We are fortunate enough to have had experience diving all over the world with many different scuba diving operations, from beach entries to liveaboards. While the Evolution’s resort facilities were adequate and their restaurant food (Craic House) was good, their treasure is their scuba operation (the staff from all of the above were wonderful). We completed 35 dives (from early morning thresher shark dives to night dives). They offered an optional daily mix of thresher shark dives, macro dives, and night dives, to a variety of local sites and nearby islands. The eight guides we had were amazing! They were all tech certified and knowledgeable, but more importantly they knew each site well and respected the reef and marine life. For those interested, Evolution offers an abundance of training courses. Their dive operation is a busy place, for good reason. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience there. On top of that, we saw the beautiful thresher sharks, up close!
