"The AC in the room was terrible. After many calls to the front desk. We finally got through and informed them of the heat in the room. Was told someone will come to check. After waiting an hour, I fell asleep in the heat. Middle of the night it was still hot. By the morning the aircon had finally gotten cold.
What a horrible night we had.
The towels at this hotel are also subpar for a holiday inn.
Breakfast and service was good. Location is good too. Free car parking."

"I was amaze at new york hotel... it has change alot since my last stay...that was before covid..it got super better...the food spread were awesome the taste was super delicious and the hotel room look cleaner then Before....it worth my money spend....
But reception on Saturday wasnt pretty lenient...i wasnt allowed to change a few things which i feel is a need for me...
I need to change from bathtub to shower as i cannot climb over it and cant change the king bed to 1 single...
And a few more... sooo i hope i can be explained why now the hotel cannot accommodate at all for a little bit changes..."

"Location was near to the places we wanted to go. There is a self check in / check out machine which was pretty cool. There's also a coway water filter - nice added value.
The room floor however was dusty, was pretty gross to walk around barefoot.. bath towels had a musky smell to it and the toilet rolls has stains. Gives off vibes that the stuff have been kept there unused for a long time..."

VValerie09Third stay with anju, tried out their studio apartment for the first time. Its situated at the lower levels (below pool lvl) so tend to have quite alot of mosquitoes at night. But other than that the beds was comfortable, smart TV, microwave, fridge and dishes provided. Highly recommended, do bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste though!

IIntruderLocation was really good. Nestled within Mid Valley Southkey Megamall. All the shopping and food was within the same building. Check in was pretty fast and they acceded to our request to check out a little later like 1pm.
Had high expectations of this hotel after recommendations from friends. However, I guess I shouldn’t have kept high expectations before I experienced it myself.
Generally service are ok, though front desk lady who checked us in could have done better with a smile. She seemed to be rather reluctant to serve us but still kept the basics in placed.
Room was clean and decent sized. Nothing much within the room, the usuals expected of a hotel at the rates that weee higher than other hotels in JB. Water can be self served from a dispensing machine just outside our room.
The not so positive areas were the towels and the shampoo and body wash provided. The towels were fraying at the sides and some areas already torn. As for the body wash and shampoo, the bottles were dirty with algae and some slime, which was quite gross. Not quite what I would expect from a reputable hotel like St Giles.
Next is the breakfast. Upon check in we were told to avoid certain hours due to high traffic. Eventually we heeded the advice and went during the so-called low traffic time. But to our dismay, the snaking queue to get into to the restaurant was at least a good 40-50m long. Seeing the super long queue, we gave up the idea of eating in tho breakfast was included in our package, and went over to the mall instead to have our breakfast.
Frankly I would try out other hotels nearby instead and if I were to come back, it’s the convenient location.

AAnonymous UserThe family suite room was spacious and the staff allowed us to check in slightly earlier as I was travelling with old folks. However, the room was not sound proof and you will hear the liveband music (which is located below the hotel) quite clearly if u are staying at a low floor. Hence, I do not recommend staying in this hotel if you are a light sleeper. My stay in this hotel was average as the hotel compressor was faulty and it made alot of noise during the middle of the night (2am) and we had to call the maintenance dept to check and we had to switch off one of the Aircon.

Our school holiday just got a whole lot more exciting — we spent the day at LEGOLAND Malaysia Theme Park.. From 10:30 until 5:30pm .. fuuhh
Although we ended the day tired, it was the happy kind of tired - Surprisingly that my Kids brave enough to ride the Rollercoaster TWICE!! Dah Byr mahal kan so kita try main as many games as we can .. but ada gak a few games xmain cause dah xlarat 🤣
& they also got lego in the Hotel .. the kids continue play with the lego in the hotel.. Mama byk kali warning jgn hilangkan .. otherwise nanti mama kena byr RM350 for the lego set 🤪
************* .. Finally we manage to fulfill our kids request to go here 🤲🏻
So thats all for our 1st Trip School Holiday .. cant wait for the next school holiday trip 😂

EElizabeth YapThe hotel location is super convenient when wanna shopping at KSL Mall and some other restaurants, body & foot massages centers, night bars especially the durian stalls during this durian season. The hotel room is clean and big enough for us to stay comfortably except for there is no specific place to put our trolley luggage. The free parking fee for hotel guests is also a very super attractive benefit for us when deciding to book this hotel as we are driving car to JB for our 1-day business trip.

Located exactly opposite the Aeon mall, you just need to walk across the pedestrian crossing.
McDonald's is beside the hotel, burger king is opposite. There are plenty of eateries around the hotel within 2-5 minutes walk.
The hotel is dated, with a very basic room, although they have swimming pool & gym. It is not your holiday resort kind of hotel.

AAnna Marie KaibiganIf you're visiting Legoland Malaysia and looking for a more budget-friendly alternative to the Legoland Resort, Ramada by Wyndham Meridin Johor Bahru is a solid choice. The hotel is located just a short drive from the theme park, making it convenient for families.
The rooms are impressively spacious and comfortable, offering great value for the price. We appreciated the modern decor and cleanliness of the space, which made our stay pleasant and relaxing.
One area for improvement would be the shuttle service. While the hotel does offer some transport options, it would be much more convenient if they increased the frequency or added more scheduled trips, especially during peak hours or weekends when many guests are heading to and from Legoland.
Overall, it's a great stay for families or groups looking to save a bit without compromising on comfort.

HHoliday lover WLThis is definitely a hotel you should not missed if you have your own transport and looking for a simple and relax staycation. We booked on the same day and last 2 rooms. The price never increased much despite the Haji holiday. Location is a bit distance from custom checkpoint but there are eateries and shops near the hotel. Generally I’m very pleased with the cleanliness and children pool where my boys really had fun. 🤩

JJoeTmVery basic hotel near City Square. To reach the hotel, you can go through the Zenith lifestyle mall opposite Komtar on the 2nd floor and turn left. The streets are brightly lit and some eateries still opened so I don't feel unsafe. Stayed for just 1 night. Room was not very big but sufficient for 1 person. Tv has Sg channels which was a plus for me. Shower gel n shampoo does not feel good, so I used the soap instead. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was consistent. Drinking water can be obtained at the water dispenser. No toilet paper provided when I checked into the room and took a while for them to deliver after my request.
