📍 1 Rue de Plantret, Courchevel

"They broke into our room in the middle of the night while we slept and robbed my husbands watch. 3 other rooms were also robbed in this hotel while we were staying there! The thieves kept coming to the hotel on the other nights, and breaking into other rooms. Friends saw the thief’s inside their room in the middle of the night. None of the hotel staff did anything to help and they mocked us. There are no security cameras! Very UNSAFE. Should be shut down, DO NOT GO."

Hôtel les Peupliers

Hôtel les Peupliers ★★★★

📍 119 Rue du Lac, Courchevel

"Long weekend with 3 mates in les trois vallees. Across the road from the main hotel. Cosy rooms with balconies overlooking the lake. Nice new bathrooms. All the trimming of the hotel e.g. robes, posh shampoo etc. and use of its facilities e.g spa, but actually closer to the pistes. Genuine ski to the door (if you build up a bit of speed to cross the flat). Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff e.g. booking process and arranging parking. Recommended. "

La Maison Hôtel les Peupliers ★★★★

📍 S/N Le Praz Saint Bon Tarentaise, Courchevel

"Our rooms were rather shabby and not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. Our rooms were in an annex/separate building across the busy main road and not in the main hotel which was not communicated at the time of booking. We booked a ‘family suite’ which consisted of 2 adjoining bedrooms, 1 bathroom and separate toilet, 1 shower room and toilet, and no living room/sitting area. Apparently in France a suite means something different from everywhere else! Communication between staff was poor. Some of the staff were a bit arrogant and couldn’t handle criticism. We would not recommend staying at this hotel with their inflated prices, pretentious attitude and shabby rooms."

Lodge les Merisiers

Lodge les Merisiers

📍 201 Rue de la Madelon, Courchevel

"This is a budget hotel in an expensive resort. The good: Good value for money Ideal for a short stay Rooms clean, surprisingly quiet, despite the bar downstairs (we were in a room at the back) The bar downstairs was nice with friendly staff Walking distance to the gondola Well equipped with boot room, plus kettle and hairdryer in room Close to ski rental shop The not so good: Only one local, budget friendly option for dinner (bar elephant), where we ate 3 times (burgers and pizzas mainly). To get out for the day exploring the 3 valleys, we had to take 3 lifts which took a while (smaller and lower runs available after the first lift) Breakfast not served until 8am, making it hard to get the first lift of the day (08.30) One coffee machine in the breakfast room meant queues for it in the morning. It would have been nice to have sachets of milk in the room, to make tea. One tiny bin in the room - a waste paper basket would have been handy Only one room key- not ideal for a group of adults who were skiing in different groups and returning at different times."

Résidence les Chalets du Forum - Courchevel 1850 ★★★★

📍 1 Rue de Plantret, Courchevel

"And in Gaussell, there's such a bad apartment, 645 euros a night 1. No towels 2. No quilt cover 3. The bed cover and pillow cover are disposable or they are turned out in the cabinet. There is no toilet paper. 5. Slippers, shampoo, shower gel, don't even think about it There is a heating in the room that is bad Everyone must be cautious when staying. Don't enter the pit again. The doorway was a road that didn't slip in or out at all."

Ecrin Blanc Resort Courchevel - Aquapark ★★★★
"Second visit to the hotel . We stayed for a week Feb 2025 and returned this week. We loved the hotel last time but this year the customer service …especially evening staff, was exceptional . The staff could not do enough for you . Happy and friendly - we will be back next year !!"

"We had an excellent stay. The apartment was spotless, well appointed, warm and brilliantly located. We were less than a 2 minute walk from the main lifts in 1850. The staff were fantastic and went the extra mile (particularly Cecilia) who stayed later than usual to accommodate our arrival time and helped with our luggage after our check out. It represents great value in an expensive village."

"Wonderful hotel, great location, lovely atmosphere, great service, good breakfast. The staff were all very friendly & on the whole service was excellent. Great breakfast also. However breakfast service in the mornings was usually a little slow...could do with more staff. Overall - recommended!"

"It is 12h40am, Tuesday April 2nd. Despite 3 separate calls to reception asking for the music outside (current temp -4) coming from the restaurant below our suite.....the music continues at levels which prevent us from sleeping. Do not come to here if you want to ski and sleep. Sleeping is not possible"
