Dunas Club - Hotel & Apartamentos

Great quality and worth what you pay. I have stayed in many 4/5 star hotels and all inclusive resorts but did budget this time. The apartment was lovely and clean and there is a lovely pool. We had a pool view apartment, terrace was a little small but ok. The pool area was extremely quiet, which didn’t suit me with young children. When I got in the pool with my 4 year old, everyone on sun beds were fixated on us and I found myself whispering, it was quite bizarre. Luckily, we didn’t spend much time there as we had family in a villa just off the *****. Location is good, just 7 min walk to music square. Lovely kitchenette but not very well equipped and no oven. The hotel attached is nice, you get 10% discount for staying at Dunas but just watch your bank if paying by card. One member of staff asked me to use my card again stating it hadn’t worked but I saw it had as my phone notified me. She then waited and said ‘oh yes it has’, May have been a genuine mistake but it felt a little suspicious. Good: Clean, nice apartment Small kitchenette Lovely pool Good location Good for the price/value for money Bad: Too quiet for some (may not be the best for lively young families/children). Not much in the kitchen and no oven (I had to buy a wine glass from the supermarket). Overall, I would definitely return due to the price and ideal location.

Really nice place, with happy staff all around the place, location is fantastic for the old town & not far to walk for the music square. prices are reasonable for food & drink, supermarket around 10 mins walk from the Dunas, 1 bedroom room was good with 2 balconies & 2 bathrooms, Pull out sofa was pretty good also.

Positives, pool, gym, breakfast. Negatives, apartment lacked simple details that would enhance the stay. Space was tight for four but we managed. Bathroom way below standard and we were visited by two cockroaches. Noisy at night and no air-conditioning. Plus you have to pay extra for clean towels and cleaning. Great location by the harbour.
