Myself , husband and daughter stayed at this hotel on the 1st October for 6 days in room 264 ( seaview) after reading reviews we werent sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Reception staff very friendly on arrival. Room clean - 2 single beds but we moved the bedside table and pushed beds together no probs. Swimming pool lush and clean - Dannys bar was great and was buzzing most days. Room was cleaned twice with towels and bedding. Perfect location . we enjoyed exploring the rock pools across the road on the lava rock. We went to the water park which was a 25 min walk away and the town centre was a 15 min walk along the beach. We would defo come back! Thank you so much for a much needed stay after a stressful few weeks at home.

Return visit booked this time as a package. Big mistake! Arrived around 9.30 pm and faced with the most unhelpful female reception member of staff. Allocated ground floor room 101. As this was a returning trip we knew the layout. Found our room behind the bar and could not believe just how poor the room was. Looked out on an enclosed concrete backyard behind the reception. The room was booked for 3 adults and the additional sofa bed had no linen and was broken. There was only 2 towels and not enough chairs. Immediately went back to reception to be told we have booked the “basic” apartment and my only option was to upgrade. I agreed as I knew there are much nicer apartments like the one we stayed in last year. Then to be told they had none to accommodate 3 adults. Then offered to pay an additional 60 euros a night to get what I stayed in last year. Which I was not prepared to pay as I had already paid a good amount in the first place. I finally gave in and returned to room 101 with more linen. Contacted our tour operator who also tried to get us moved and failed and I am in a dispute with them now home. There was a doorway to the front of the complex, by the side of our apartment where during the week building materials, rubbish bins and bar deliveries trundled past our patio doors helping to not make our stay relaxing at any point. The apartment was not clean, with stains on the sheets and hairs and dirt on the floor. I went and bought cleaning products and cleaned it thoroughly as I do not live like that at home and I’m not prepared to while on holiday. The apartment was cleaned on the third day and the bed linen changed but the cleaners water was dirty and the new sheets smelt mouldy. So we cleaned it after the maid again! Around the pool on this stay was not relaxing as a large group of men were thrashing a football in the pool and you had to hope you weren’t hit by it. Corralejo is still lovely and we made the best of our holiday by not being in the apartment much, just to sleep which was a huge shame! I would not return again and have given 2 stars purely to the kindness of the male receptionist with glasses who was so lovely, sympathetic and kind which I really appreciated.

The accommodation does need updating. However, it is clean & spacious. The pool & pool side are immaculate with plenty of sunbeds. The pool bar is excellent with very friendly staff. Onsite supermarket caters for all basic needs. Above all, I found all of the staff to be very friendly & helpful. Any issues that I experienced were dealt with professionally & efficiently. Its location is close to the music square, the port, Main Street & beaches with plenty of restaurants & bars, often with live music
