The food was average and took forever. What made our evening amazing was the service of Killian on the floor and Amy behind the bar. 5 stars for that service alone!

Beautiful and charming Victorian building! My partner and I booked a room for Cork Jazz/ graduation.. upon arrival we were kindly upgraded to the Bridal Suite. The room was gorgeous, comfortable bed with great views of the city. Would highly recommend, only a 15 minute walk into town. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the cocktails in the bar were very enjoyable!

The hotel looked fantastic, but the entire place had the smell of carpet freshener, which was inescapable. The room has no air conditioner and there is no bar fridge to keep my recently pruchased juice cool. My companion and I visited the restaurant where there were approximately 15 other patrons to be advised that there would be a 30-minute delay for food. I enquired why there is a delay when only 15 patrons are in the restaurant and was advised that there are fewer staff working today. We were given a menu, and the waiter left our table. After an extended delay, my companion left the restaurant, saying they couldn't be bothered waiting. Patrons who arrived after me were being served, and when I asked if I could please order, the staff said they assumed I had already been assisted. I ordered a pizza and a glass of wine, and I then waited considerable time for my drink to be served. Approximately one hour after arriving at the restaurant, my meal was delivered. The pizza was very tasty, but the experience left a very bad taste!
