The price is moderate, the location of the hotel is excellent, it is clean and there is nothing wrong with it

The front desk and everyone at this hotel was extremely nice and helpful. My only concern was the fact that the hotel is not actually the comfort inn and has undergone a name change. I was not informed before I arrived and it really was not a good start to my bday weekend. Hotel was in walking distance to many restaurant and bars however why was I not informed about the name change before arrival and why has Trip.com not updated the hotel name in the site as of 1/24/23 and hotel states name changed in 12/15/22. I believe they do this to lure people into to booking a new without their knowledge.

We absolutely lived the location! It was only a few blocks from the beach, but not right on Ashford so it was quieter. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel has a spot at the beach with chairs and umbrellas free to use (just show your room card and give them your room number - the stand has Holiday Inn Express, but they check in people from a few different hotels). We were in the second tower (not the one with the restaurant/reception/pool). While it had a balcony, it was on a lower floor and there was still some construction happening. However, the balcony was great for drying things off. The rooms are set very cold but we could easily adjust the thermostat. We loved having a mini-fridge and so many hooks to hang all of our things. A couple things to note: the road south of the hotel floods from the Lagoon during high tide, so we just made a note at night to walk down Calle Clemenceau; and the entrance to the the main tower from the second tower is locked between 10pm and 10am, so it was a little annoying to have to walk around to the front entrance to grab towels for the beach (it would also feel a little more secure if the entrance to the second tower required a room key after hours, since you could easily walk up the atrium area between the buildings from the sidewalk and enter). They seem to still be setting up the entrance area of the second tower, so some of that might change. You get a $25/day credit towards the hotel restauarant and while we used it for drinks one night, the rest of the time we used it to get bottles of water for the day. We had a great time!

Nice hotel but the rooms are small. We had a double bed. It was clean and the staff was amazing. It used to be the comfort inn now is called Abitta boutique hotel. They are merging the next building with this hotel. That building has the balcony. It is in a perfect location near everything. We had their breakfast It was delicious. I would stay their again.

Due to a cancelled flight out of the nearby San Juan airport, I quickly selected this hotel without much research for an overnight stay due to its proximity to the airport (<5 miles) and the fact that it had a restaurant. We were exhausted after spending many hours at the airport trying to get our flights rebooked and were dismayed to learn that the restaurant isn't actually open on Mondays. We did have breakfast there the next morning and it was a hearty and tasty meal. The reason for the $40 mandatory "fee" was not explained. Proximity to the beach is good, just a short walk away. We did not partake of any of the other amenities because we were there for just 1 night. The elevators are ancient and a weird sloping floor just before the elevators caused a wheel on my luggage to get caught in the gap which was quite an ordeal to overcome. One of the 2 elevators wasn't working at all. The room was rather shabby with chipped furniture, beds that creaked and squeaked very loudly, stained, gritty flooring, a coffeemaker that didn't work and no hair dryer. The pictures misrepresent the condition of this hotel. Had I taken my usual care in selecting hotels by reading numerous reviews, I wouldn't have chosen this one, but it was okay in a pinch, and we actually slept well after a long, exhausting day.

Spent here 4 nights. Hotel is very basic & needs maintenance. The restaurant was quite ok. The location is OK but a bit behind others. For the standard and the maintenance situation this hotel is too expensive. Please get it renovated and choose a more realistic price.

Ill start this by saying I stay at a lot of hotels for business-with most of the name hotels(Marriott,Hilton,IG,etc)..Decided to try this boutique hotel in Condado..First the good..most of the staff were very nice. Hotel is fairly convenient to the beach(about a 10 minute walk through city streets but not a hard walk so this was a plus. They do provided umbrellas, lounge chairs and towels once you find their spot on the beach. Our stay was in the middle of the San Sebastian festival so there were a lot of people all over the place. Surprisingly the hotel was full but the room was pretty quiet-maybe we got lucky! There is very limited on street parking but most likely you will be using their valet service($25 per day)..this was pretty convenient-car was brought up promptly. It is an Uber ride or a 10 min car ride to Old San Juan, where all the fun is. Within walking distance of the hotel we found Tavola, not exactly a Puerto Rican restaurant but great Italian food and service was great-highly recommend. Now the not so good. They encourage you to eat at their restaurant and give you a daily credit to eat there depending on the length of your stay. We only ate breakfast there-food was ok-service very slow-we did have a major issue with one of their breakfast servers to the point of walking away from the table. Not a good look when the server comes after you in a combative way! The inside of the hotel (hallways, elevator, carpets, not in the best of shape-an older hotel renovated but in need of upkeep! In summary I would stay somewhere else-there are better choices-you never want the place you stay at to be the reason you wouldn't come back, but that clearly is how we all felt...

Even though the ambience and aesthetics are quite pleasing at Ábitta I would never return to this hotel or any of their affiliated hotels. My discovery of a dirty shower upon checking in, with strands of hair (not belonging to myself or anyone in my family) put a stain on my first trip to PR. After checking in at approximately 5.15pm on 01/22/25 we went up to our room, Room 302, to change and then head right back out to begin our vacation/birthday celebrations. We decided to shower and were met with a very disgusting sight which completely grossed out my wife and kid. I had to wash someone else’s hair off the walls to be able to use the shower (see pictures attached). In addition to the aforementioned issue, two more issues arose afterwards: 1. Two roaches were found in our room. 2. The bath water was not flowing properly and was forming a pool when showering. Seems like they never cleaned up after the last guests and simply gave me the keys to a dirty room. Spoke to their front desk who promised to inform management but to date no one has reached out even once in any capacity. I have sent at least four emails to them with not even a reply. It’s been 5 days. Please do not stay here!!!!!

I was here for a baby moon, thinking the hotel location was right at the beach cause the way they advertised it and on the picture they have on ******* like they were located at the beach like just right out next to your door. Only to find out you have to walk like 15 mins -20 mins I’m pregnant so depends how fast you walked going to the beach. The facility location I would say is accessible cause it’s near the airport and old San Juan . Pleanty of restaurants around the area. Our room is clean, pillow and bed is comfortable. The staff I say is approachable and nice. My Cons: 1. once you get in the lobby the air freshener smell os over powering now I’m not sure if they masking the bad smell Of air freshener, 2. there’s always a puddle of water outside the hotel even if not raining , 3. in ******* it says parking available but once you get there there’s no parking you have to Pay $25/day to valet your car ( I think it’s false advertisement again) they should have write it down that valet parking is available. 4. The pool area, needs some cleaning . Look like no one is really checking on the pool/ hot tub / kids pool. You can see the sand and the water is blurry. 5. Once we check in again, there was all of this hidden fee / surg charges ( I booked mine in ******* and it should also be written there what are those fee. Again! False advertisement) .
