My husband and I stayed here to celebrate my birthday the hotel is very elegant spotlessly clean everywhere The food and drinks were good apart from the cocktails Nightly entertainment wasn’t too bad some good singers some not so good We stayed in the adult area which I was under the impression could not use sun beds until 10 am but we’re always in there at 9.30 But if you left your towel in the bed and left your towel would be taken off There is a bar or snack at every pool food and drinks all day and the staff were so nice As a couple we really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t find fault with this hotel

Beautiful resort in the sunny climate of Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. My family and I visited The Maspalomas Princess Hotel in September 25 for 10 nights. Hotel was absolutely beautiful, staff were friendly and approachable and very accommodating, clean and serene feeling. We were all made to feel very welcome and cared for. Buffet meals were fantastic, tried a variety of Canarian dishes, wasn't quite expecting how much you get with all inclusive, we wanted for nothing the entire time. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again. Gran Canaria itself is absolutely beautiful and so worth the visit. Locals were friendly. Taxi service was phenomenal the UK could learn a great deal. 10/10 in every aspect!

This holiday was one we’ll never forget, and that’s largely down to two incredible people – Juanak and Angi. Their kindness, empathy, and emotional intelligence are beyond anything I’ve seen before. They managed to bring out the very best in my usually shy 10-year-old, helping her to relax, join in, and truly shine. Watching her confidence grow day by day was a joy, and it’s all thanks to their genuine care and warmth. They have created core memories for her that will last a lifetime. Both of them showed a level of maturity and understanding well beyond their years, and I sincerely hope they go on to achieve everything they dream of. People as lovely as them truly deserve happiness and good fortune in life. The wider resort itself was also outstanding. I was especially impressed by the lifeguards stationed at every pool, the abundance of friendly, attentive staff, and the overall feeling of safety and care throughout the stay. Everyone was chatty, professional, and kind, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a safe, kind, and beautiful Balearic setting for a family holiday, I can recommend this place 100%. Thanks again to the wonderful team – and especially to Juanak and Angi – for giving my daughter (and us) memories we’ll cherish forever. Message to Management: Please know what an asset Juanak and Angi are to your team. Their natural ability to connect with guests, especially children, is exceptional and truly sets your resort apart. Staff like them embody the spirit of outstanding hospitality and make all the difference between a good holiday and an unforgettable one. We are currently staying at the Maspalomas and tabaiba princess on the tabaiba side first impressions as we entered the hotel were not good there was a funny smell throughout and it looked no way near as nice as the pictures online.We made our way to our room on the ground floor to find dirty tissues , plates and cups outside and all throughout the hallway . As we made our way into our room it was awful drab worn down interior and grubby looking bath room and also to mention a big black stain on the ceiling, the balcony was no better very small with its paint peeling off everywhere.We tried to change hotels but it was not possible so upgraded to a junior suit for an extra €192 this room was much nicer bigger nice shower and nice balcony with sun beds, but again walked into to someone else’s dirty beach towels , water bottles and rubbish etc . I called reception explained the situation and they sent the maids to change the beds or so thought …. They did in-fact make up my daughters sofa bed but didn’t change the bedding from the previous people which had stains and hairs all over so again I called and they sent maids again who didn’t seem very happy. there was a language barrier but from what I can gather she was telling me they were clean in which they definitely were not , so eventually I ended up going to reception AGAIN to explain and showed them pictures of the dirty bedding and hairs but they didn’t seem to care It just seemed as though I was annoying them. This is the worst holiday we have had as a family hands down this is no way near a 4 star + hotel it’s a 3 at best .there is so much more criticism I have left out but frankly I do no have the time or energy to tell it all , it has ruined both mine and my partners birthday .I feel like I need another holiday because of this holiday . Definitely will not be returning feels like we flushed our money down the toilet .

This was certainly a disappointing holiday for us in a hotel that didn’t live out to the travel companies ratings. The large travel company put this in their Platinum options, it certainly shouldn’t be having been to some of the other platinum hotels in Crete and Corfu. There were some positives but quite a few negatives. The Positives: Large, spacious pools with plenty of sunbeds. (Be aware: towels left unattended before 10am are removed — a rule we actually appreciated!) Great kids’ pool and slides — our 5- and 7-year-olds have been happily entertained. Lots of lifeguards around, which felt reassuring. Rooms are generally clean, though a bit dated. The Negatives: The “all-inclusive” offering is misleading. Cocktails are limited to poor-quality pre-mixed options from a machine, and anything freshly made comes at an extra cost. You’ll also need to pay for things like afternoon crepes, certain ice creams, and fresh juice at breakfast. The buffet food resembles a basic school canteen. Expect lots of fried options and low-quality meats. Allergy sufferers should be particularly cautious — although food is labelled, there’s little effort to prevent cross-contamination, and serving areas are often messy and not properly maintained. At peak times, there’s a consistent shortage of plates, cutlery, and glasses. The staff do their best, but there just don’t seem to be enough resources or organisation in place. The entertainment was average at best. Pool areas gather dirt and pool water around easily and are only seemingly cleaned early in the morning. The themed restaurants are still buffets, and in the Italian it is basically the same as what you can get in the main buffet Only 1 main buffet restaurant for a hotel which at the time had 2000 guests meant it was quite chaotic getting food. We were really hoping for a more seamless and relaxing experience, something we didn’t really get. I’d say this is not the rating given on the travel companies website and I’m not sure it justifies its own rating either.
