When calling them on the phone they mentioned a specific rate, but when we showed up there, they nearly added another 50% because "the season would start".... Or, maybe, because they saw that I am a foreigner... Besides this, it was a pleasant stay. If they invest in a gym, it could be one of the best places to stay at in Colombo.

Service terrible! I came to check in and they said my booking not on their system! Then asking me to Reebok again with special rate which is I refused due I already full paid this booking. Then I walk out to find other hotel. After complaints to Trip.com they said my booking available on their system and asking me to stay! I refused due I had booked new hotel and now they won’t agreed to refund 100% my booking.

Affordable, clean, about 3 km from the beach, within walking distance.

For ordinary employees on business trips, the price is relatively cheap and the environment is OK

Lovely modern hotel, spacious rooms, extremely clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of food and drink. I am physically impaired and the gent who checked me in was concerned about that from the word go. Appreciate it. The hotel needs to get a little more disable Friendly and the showers need more attention. Overall a very nice, peaceful place

The Trillium is a good boutique hotel - the rooms are spacious and the Rooftop Pool - Bar is great place to relax. The hotel has great internet and if looking to experience some of the cities key sites use a ride share app to arrange transport, there are some great dining opportunities in easy walking distance. The menu (selection) and meals did not meet the expectation of price being asked and unsure where the five star rating came from.

Great little hotel close to city but with the rooftop 360 degree view and infinity pool it’s a real find, rooms are large and comfortable, the service from the team is excellent especially Rekha at breakfast with Ishara and Sasha and the ever helpful Ayoma looking after us with housekeeping- nothing seems too much trouble breakfast is lovely with eggs cooked to order and a buffet with cereals, breads and pastries as well as Sri Lankan curries and coconut milk rice- The food upstairs in the restaurant is also good with a good combination of choices from burgers pizza and Sri Lankan dishes - we had some lovely prawns. It’s about 20min drive to the seafront area which costs around 1000 rupees in a tuk tuk or Uber. I would definitely stay here again.

Property chosen for its location (easy to get to independence Square and Lifes good kitchen) and the fact it had a roof roof top bar and pool. All were excellent. Great views across to the Colombo skyline, especially at night. Staff overall were helpful and friendly. One of bar tenders especially so. Pool was a decent size but only gets dun in the afternoon. The shower is down a flight of steps and along a corridor and you have to pay as you go and cant charge to the room which is annoying. Food - after my chicken sandwich arrived as a mayonnaise sandwich and the smallest morsels of chicken possible, I decided not to risk any other meals or breakfast. The roof top has a pizza oven so I did try a pizza on the saxophone night, both of which were good. Rooms are a decent size and the shower and hot water is great. No hooks or hanging space in the bathroom for damp swimwear which is annoying. Bathroom fittings and toiletries fit 5 star but room furnishings towels and linen are 2 star. Thin and worn. Lots of cupboard space but only 3 coat hangers Tea and coffee but no teaspoons WiFi keeps dropping out.

Thank you for the great hospitality. Appreciate the staffs friendliness.. We had few luggages thankful to the room boy who made it easier to access. The view by the pool is veru beautiful it is a much needed getaway with my wife. It is great to have known such a lovely place in heart of Colombo

The room was very spacious,clean & had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was very delicious and with a many choices , It was very wide buffet spread. The people in the reception were very helpful. I would recommend to friends Trillium Boutique City Hotel.
