Stay Hotel Coimbra Centro
"The hotel was centrally located but is not a 4* property. I would suggest it’s a basic 3* in terms of decor, bathrooms etc. Rooms are a decent size, Bed is comfy, shower was hot with good pressure and towels were good. Breakfast options are limited"
NH Coimbra Dona Ines
"Everything is great. Recommend this hotel. The only thing that can be improved is that the rooms need some renovation."
HI Coimbra - Pousada de Juventude
"Very good breakfast, worth staying"
Zero Box Lodge Coimbra
"It was a great place and the young lady on reception was fantastic. Had a very cool bar and restaurant. Food was fine. Main waitress was unhelpful and bordered on rude hence the overall rating of average rather than fantastic."
Hotel Mondego
"Window of room looks out directly to the university. All the good restos are nearby (we had Calma Tavern."
Hotel Astoria
"Good accommodation in city center."
Praxis CBR Boutique Hotel - Coimbra
"The best hotel. The interior is beautiful. The staff is friendly. The location is good. If I go to Coimbra again, I will stay at this hotel."
Hotel D. Luis
"Excellent hotel and good service."
Ibis Coimbra Centro
"The room is a bit small, similar to most European hotels. The hygiene is acceptable, and the room is relatively quiet, but there's an outdoor air conditioning unit. However, please pay attention to the cancellation policy."

Granja da Cabrita
"Nice and clean place"
Coimbra Camping & Bungalows
"Noisy cramped camping, it’s by a main road that’s very busy, swimming pool is an extra3.5euro each so quite pricey for a family, also the rudest man serving in the restaurant absolutely horrible person, almost threw my food at me because I wanted another toastie, don’t go it will ruin your holiday."
Hotel Quinta Das Lagrimas - Small Luxury Hotels
"Lovely and elegant historical villa. Breakfast is very nice and tasty. Staff is extremely helpful."
Casa de São Bento
"A highly recommended hotel with a great quality/price ratio. Everything was spotlessly clean, it is close to many tourist attractions and there is also easy parking on the street (free). Breakfast costs 9 euros per person, but it is fine. The best thing is undoubtedly the reception staff. The girls are very friendly."
Solar Antigo Luxury Coimbra
"Solar Antigo is a must-visit in Coimbra for anyone seeking a top-notch experience. We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi and a stunning view of the city, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was my wife’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. They even included a small cake with a candle for the in-room breakfast—such a thoughtful touch! The welcome sparkling wine and cake were also a delightful surprise. Their exceptional attention to detail and outstanding customer service truly set them apart. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!"
Penedo da Saudade Suites & Hostel
"Host and staff are friendly and helpful. The place is nice, clean and neat. View from balcony is excellent, a good place to relax."
ArchiSuites
"Self-check-in is very convenient, the landlord will send an email in advance to inform the process and password, and there is free parking across the street, which is simple and easy to understand. There is a food area near the hotel. The price of the roadside shop is cheaper than that of the big city. The dishes are very generous. It is very pleasant to stroll along the river after eating."
The Luggage
"Very nice and stylish hotel, the breakfast could benefit from more vegetables, but all in all good value for money and nice location. I would stay here again, when I come back to Coimbra."
Guesthouse Coimbra City
"The hotel is located in the wrong location as specified in this app. Contact the hostess like us on WhatsApp, she will tell you how to get to the hotel. Its real name is Coimbra City Charm. Why we never understood. The room itself is small but quiet. The hostess is welcome. It's clean. There's a kitchen fully equipped."
Vila Gale Coimbra
"First, I noticed a discretionary application of the pool regulations. Although the hotel wasn't classified as a "family hotel," at certain times there were 4 to 5 children in the pool, in clear violation of the rules posted there. Second, the gym, which is quite busy—with guests even waiting as early as 7 am—didn't provide towels or drinking water, something basic for that type of space."
BE Coimbra Hostels
Hotel Ibn-Arrik
"The sanitation is good, the environment is average, there are many mirrors in the room, and the big mirror facing the bed makes it really hard to fall asleep and sleep unsteadily. The service is problematic. After we finished breakfast, the child was still drinking a cup of hot water waiting for it to cool down before drinking it. He was actually stopped by the waiter We were kicked out of the breakfast room as they said it was closed and asked us to leave immediately while several of the waiters were having their staff meal. It was really inhumane. Our car also had a small new scratch on it from being in the parking lot for a day, so we were not too happy with it."
Hotel Oslo
"Great location and service, beautiful view from the terrace,"
Tivoli Coimbra
"We were able to get a room with a same day reservation which was very helpful to us. The hotel is fine with the largest room we had during our stay in Portugal. We were comfortable there and it was an easy and safe walk to the old town center of Coimbra. That being said, the furniture in the rooms are very old and the rooms have not been updated in a very long while. They had at least on large tour bus group there when we visited. The parking is very difficult to access as it is so tight and you have to get buzzed into the parking by the operator. They do have a nice lounge next to the lobby that is open to 11 PM. We did purchase the breakfast but it was nothing special."
