Amazing, Jacob Lake is such an amazing place to get away from the city life. The calm, peaceful serenity of being one with mother nature is truly amazing. I had the privilege of staying both in a cabin as well as a hotel room n both were amazing. The cabins offer there own porches where you can start gaze at night , feeling of glamping ...lol and the hotel are very clean definitely get a room on the 2nd floor with the back porch facing the Forrest again love the night skies. They also have a front lodge, where you can book n get your room at the front desk as well as a tiny store where you can grab snacks as well as basic necessities if your like me and forget my toothpaste they definitely will have it. The ice cream parlor the shakes are divine, as well as there world famous cookies, love the oatmeal raisins is my favorite, keep in mind tho going into winter season they will only have 4 type of cookies instead of the many variety. Litteraly crumble who? Must try for sure. They also have a gift shop where you can get grand canyon merch as well as native American arts and rugs, jewelry and some arts are from local artists as well as local native American very unique n beautiful. Then you have your choice of eating at the counter or a more formal sitting in the dining room area. Everything i had to eat was superb. Love the pancakes 🥞 onolicious! Jacob Lake is impeccable in every way possible. It has been a place of healing for me personally. And will definitely go back!!! Must have in your bucket list of places to visit.

Fabulous cookies, hand crafted gifts, a small variety store and restaurant are all part of the main building at Jacob’s Lake Inn. The food was delicious and well priced. The shakes are so wonderful and thick, you need a spoon in the beginning. The waitstaff were outstanding: Attentive and friendly. We didn’t stay here, but they have a variety of rooms and cabins.

Jacob Lake Inn is in an incredible location. Kaibab Forest and surrounding area is beautiful. Just the drive makes it worth it. The cabin was extremely comfortable, safe and updated! The restaurant is a favorite, as well as the famous cookies and ice cream! Gift shop had beautiful authentic native crafts as well as souvenirs.

Jacobs Lake Inn was comfortable, quiet and the staff was amazing. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The patio outside of the room offered a lot of serenity.

We were doing a road trip from Denver to Phoenix and had booked the Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge. However the closure of the lodge meant a quick change of plan so we booked the Jacob Lake Inn. A lovely forest venue with very quicky but comfy and clean cabins with a decent shower. We ate breakfast and dinner at the inn, all good, and spent rather too much on the cookies and souvenirs. The staff were great. Only downside is the hour drive to the north rim - but if you are luck you'll see lots of wildlife on the way. 100% recommend

We stayed in a cabin at Jacob's Lake Inn, about a 55 minute drive to Grand Canyon North Rim. The historic cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We parked right outside the cabin and walked to the lodge which had a dine-in restaurant, a counter you could eat at, a convenience market, gift shop, and delectable freshly made cookies. The staff was very customer service oriented and shouted a welcoming hello each time we entered the lodge. They were busy on the weekend and hustled to serve customers. There's a gas station next door. They had a fire burning in the fireplace on the cold evening that we arrived. It was a charming place with friendly staff and a convenient location - a very good value!

Super nice staff. Kids & family noises are great to hesr but there is too little soundproofng from windows & hallway door. No coffee maker in room (that's a downer!) But overall a great, affordable, nearby option to the very expensive lodge on the North Rim itself.
