Such an amazing hotel, really enjoying our stay here! The hotel is absolutely beautiful , the rooms are also really lovely with very comfortable beds, very clean too! The staff here are so lovely and friendly and are always willing to help, nothing is too much to ask for The pools are great, I’ve seen reviews about the sun loungers and although a lot of people do place towels to claim them , there are so many loungers, we have had no problem finding one The food is also really nice, a lovely variety of food, the desserts are also lovely We have been to the Italian al a carte and the food was absolutely beautiful The hotel grounds are so clean and well looked after I’ve seen reviews of cockroaches but I have not seen a single one, in fact I’ve barely seen any bugs at all! There is not a single bad thing I can say about this hotel if I’m being honest, definitely one of the best ones I’ve ever stayed at. The evenings are always so lively with live music in front of the buffet restaurant and also in the square. Love the fact the snack bar is open all night as we arrived late and still managed to have some food. I have seen some negative reviews which made me a little skeptical but I can honestly say I’ve not had any bad experiences here at all. We still have 2 days left and I am so gutted to be leaving soon! Would absolutely recommend this hotel and will absolutely be returning! Thank you for an amazing holiday and amazing service!

I am going to be completely honest as some reviews are dramatic. Rooms- there are a few blocks which some are old and new. We were in the old block on arrival with no air con and just a ceiling fan and not going to lie it wasn’t good. So straightaway we upgraded to the new block the next day but did cost us €150 for the suite room which was lovely no complaints. Check what u book before you get there as I was automatically allocated a room when u book. You can hire a air con machine for €80 Pool area - Lovely area but if you want a sunbed then forget it. People where putting them on the loungers midnight so if your planning an early wake up call for them you need to get up at midnight. It’s ridiculous we sat on the grass for the full week and by about 2pm people were leaving their loungers so we had them anyway. But area is lovely. In all fairness life guard will remove towels if your not there and someone is looking for one which i thought was great. Shop- was not overly expensive in the hotel. The snack bar was reasonably price, toasty and chips €4. Entertainment- not for me same 3 people I think all week and nothing for kids entertainment or kids clubs. Men vocalists is all we saw when we left hotel. Restaurants- some lovely restaurants outside the Italian Napolia I think it was called stunning pizza and the price unbelievable 3 huge pizza and 6 drinks €33 not a lie. Aqua viva does lovely food and the Mexican was lush, Over all for a week holiday self catering we really enjoyed it and I think was reasonably priced for families.

We booked into this hotel for one night. We waited for the crossing to the island of El Hierro the next day. In advance we compared the prices with the hotels in Los Cristianos. The decision to plan an overnight stay here was exactly right: the hotel is very quietly located in a small cul-de-sac, starting from a quiet side street. Everything was clean, our room was very comfortable. The reception was also very friendly. In the morning there was a small buffet. It was served on small plates, so that fresh cheese, fresh fruit and fresh sausages were always available from the counter. Since it is a small hotel, the breakfast atmosphere was very cozy. There was fresh coffee in the morning... freshly brewed. The hotel is located away from the tourist area, 10 minutes by car directly to the beach and port of Los Cristianos. In the evening in the nearby small café near the sports field, we immersed ourselves in the village culture of the ”islanders”. The prices in the small restaurant (there are a few nearby, 5-7 mins walk) are significantly cheaper than in Los Cristianos (big portions for €10). In any case, you can sleep well and peacefully in a very good hotel.

LLIThe hotel is located in a small town about 10 minutes drive from the airport and is basically a British tourist. The facilities in the room are very complete, the hotel also has a swimming pool, the front desk service is very warm, you can also help to reserve the terrain. IISOQuality Serv... LHaving been coming to this resort for the best part of 30 years we returned again this year with our young family. This resort never disappoints; it’s always clean, tidy, quiet with very friendly and helpful staff. Particularly Marianne on reception who always greets you by name and with a smile and Viktor the lifeguard. We had our 1 year old son with us and Viktor was so good with him- he always helped us get beds with shade and made the time around the pool really enjoyable. Unfortunately during our stay our son was ill and we had to take him to hospital- the next day we received a call from reception checking in on him and making sure he was ok. This was a really nice touch and shows the staff like to get to know their guests. Our son made a full recovery and enjoyed the rest of his holiday with his brother and sister. If you are looking for a quiet, friendly, family resort look no further. Nothing is too much trouble for the team at Beverly Hills Heights. The apartments are in good order (including super fast Wi-Fi) ours had recently been refurbed and had a beautiful sea view which is well worth requesting. Thanks again to everyone at BHH.

Есть две кухни, одна работает с 08:30-22:00, другая круглосуточно. Комнаты оборудованы вентиляторами. С учётом вечного ветра в Эль-Медано, довольно комфортно. Сам хостел расположен в шаговой доступности от остановок автобуса и супермаркетов, которые, кстати, работают и по воскресеньям. Единственный минус, который бы я отметил - это отсутствие навеса на крыше. Когда солнце, там очень жарко.

7799jadecEste febrero, pasé una semana en este albergue y me encantó. ¡Qué albergue tan encantador! Mi alojamiento estaba en el sur de la isla de Tenerife en un pueblo calmo en la costa. El albergue no está lejos del pueblo de El Médano, y puedes caminar al lado de la costa si quieres. El alojamiento está muy cerca de una pequeña playa, es lo bastante grande para tomar el sol, nadar en el mar o bien hacer windsurf. Además, había muchas otras playas cerca que eran tranquilísimas. Hay un supermercado que se llama ‘Dialprix’ a diez minutos de pie: muy útil. Si quieres visitar el Capital de Santa Cruz, puedes montarte en una guagua para ir ahí. Los boletos no me parecieron muy caros. El pueblo en sí es genial para una semana tranquila o bien para hacer windsurf o senderismo. La casa está en una zona residencial de reciente construcción y es muy moderna. Hay una cocina comunal donde puedes cocinar la comida. La cocina tiene muchos electrodomésticos y una nevera que todo el mundo puede usar; ¡pero obviamente debes lavar los platos después! Todas las mañanas desayuné en el comedor con una vista increíble desde el balcón; la montaña y la playa de Pelada. La casa tiene un jardín comunal, una piscinita y una terraza con hamaca donde puedes tomar el sol o charlar con tus compañeros de casa. Mi habitación abajo era bastante pequeña pero acogedora también. Los dormitorios estaban muy limpios y el ambiente de la planta baja donde están los dormitorios era tranquilo y no era ruidoso. Cada litera tiene un enchufe eléctrico y las cortinas para la privacidad. Los colchones y edredones eran nuevos, cómodos y limpios. Hay baños con duchas y una zona con lavadora y muchos tendederos. Todas las facilidades eran modernas. El personal del hotel era muy amistoso e intentará darte todo lo que pidas. Caía bien a todo el mundo ya que todos fueron agradables y simpáticos. ¡Fue genial! Te recomiendo ir allí de vacaciones. Si quieres disfrutar de un viaje tranquilo y activo, debes ir allí. Es un lugar agradable y seguro para gente de todas las edades. La verdad es que es un alojamiento ideal para grupos pequeños o bien viajeros en solitario. Conocí muchas personas interesantes y amables de orígenes diversos diferente. Lo pasé de cine en las montañas con mis amigos. ¡Gracias a Aloe Vera por una experiencia inolvidable!

GGuest UserI had a brilliant time at this hostel and met some lovely people. The place is kept clean, the common room is a great size, and there's space to hang wet things after going in the sea/washing clothes. Lights go off at 11pm so people can sleep if they want. The location is perfect - minutes from the beach and restaurants etc. I felt that some of the staff could have been friendlier and more inclusive but overall would definitely recommend this place to solo travellers.

If you are groups, this hotel isn't for you We have been coming to Whala (formerly Mar Ola Portosin) for 5 years and this visit was our 4th this year, due to return for our 5th visit in December! Over the years we have built a great relationship with the staff and made lots of friends with returning guest like ourselves. Since changing over to Whala we have noticed various changes, some good some bad. It was my husbands birthday whilst on our recent stay and I had emailed in advance to see if they could perhaps put something complimentary in our room, a note was made on the system but sadly on the day the guy on reception explained he had spoke to management and there was nothing they could do. This was quite disappointing especially as at other hotels you see guests given complimentary stuff for birthdays/engagements/anniversary's. Bear in mind this was our 4th visit THIS year, Little gestures go a long way. When it was Mar ola they had a loyalty scheme which was very rewarding especially for the regular returning guests. I can not fault Wilma on reception, we have a great relationship with him and has always made us feel welcome, same with Jose. Unfortunately he only returned from his holidays on the day we were leaving. I think I speak for a lot of guests, that Lucy and Tom on the pool bar make their holiday and if it wasn't for them I don't as many guests would return. Happy hour was stopped which again I believe this brought guests together, maybe they should try reinstate a daily promotion or offer at the bar, switching the drinks daily to try and bring the fun back to the bar. The biggest issue we see now is young groups. This hotel used to be a strictly no group hotel. It has always been a very family friendly, couples and older guests orientated hotel. There were a young group of 6 lads and they decided to start play fighting, dunking, splashing each other. The lifeguard watched them, but did not tell them to stop, yet if you have a ball or inflatable you get told off! My 5 year old daughter had to get out of the pool due to the constant splashing near her and I was very disappointed nothing was done about this! It's a shame Daniel no longer works here as the lifeguard, he was brilliant for the pool and took no messing. The noise from certain rooms were ridiculous, shouting from balcony to balcony, rolling in at 4am and proceeding to talk loud on their balconies. Its frustrating that such a small minority ruin it for others! A group of girls next to us left their Chinese takeaway on their balcony for 3 days, massive food spillages outside their front door, door bell ringing at early hours. Luckily they did receive a final warning, we felt really sorry for the guy on reception that night he looked like he had had enough. They were dealt with accordingly but still doesn't help being kept awake early hours and puts a dampener on your holiday. GGuest UserI loved this hotel. Me and my boyfriend decided to go on a short holiday in half term and chose this hotel as it was relatively cheap whilst also being quite central in playa las americas. When we arrived the hotel is very clean. We got to our room and we had been given a double family room for the 2 of us. i didn’t book this so this was a nice surprise as we had a double balcony which looked over the sea and we could see the sunset. The bathroom was lovely and the rooms were very clean with huge beds, cleaned every day to a perfect standard. In the morning we had a buffet breakfast which was extensive and filled us up, the dinner buffet was also really nice and changed every night with fresh food also being made in front of you. The pool side had lots of chairs and we never struggled to get a seat, the pool was nice and a nice temperature. There was a bar near the pool with crisps and drinks and on the last day there was a pool party with music and rubber dingies which we both loved as it was some entertainment. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the beach and the main bars and we managed to walk to many different areas with no problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel can’t fault it

GGuest UserAndrea's Hotel is towards the best 2 * hotel I've ever stayed in, clean, unexpected comfort and excellent service. The location is perfect, away from the hurly burly but close enough to walk to the beaches and harbour. Some good restaurants close by. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, adequate storage, air conditioning that's works well; also a quiet, effective ceiling fan. The bathroom is fine. There's a kettle, tea and coffee; TV, safe, hair dryer, plenty of duvets etc. We had a balcony with table and 3 chairs. The hotel has a good size lounge with a vending machines selling, crisps, chocolate bars, sodas, etc. Reception is manned 24 hours a day, good English spoken. . The lift works well. They have a secure lock up to leave cases etc. They don't do breakfasts but there's a number of cafes reasonably close; also a supermarket underneath the hotel. We paid about 60 euros per night and stayed there twice. Highly recommend.

We are just back from 5 nights at the sol arona and we had a fabulous time. Myself my mum and my daughter who is 3 were travelling. The entertainment team made the trip extra fun with activities all day and night. They were all so approachable and great with my wee girl. We had loads of fun and they have the daily activities all year long. The food was also brilliant. This is the second time we have stayed here and will definitely be back!

We arrived at the bungalows on 24th October as a party of 8 including 3 teens and 1 aged 79 with mobility issues. Having read the reviews I was worried but had also messaged ahead to ask that our rooms be allocated in a convenient spot for the elderly traveller. We were given 4 rooms, 30, 36, 64 and 51. Room 30 was allocated to our older person as it was near Reception, had no steps and pool view. Slightly further from restaurant and bar but accessible without steps. When we entered the rooms I can’t deny we were pleasantly surprised. Seemed clean, spacious, nice bathroom, utensils as required. I would go as far as to say, as good or better than any similar starred accommodation we had been in. I think perhaps others who rated the hotel, were expecting too much for their money. We were told the room would be cleaned and towels changed every 3 days and that happened. We are used to having more regular cleaning but it just meant being more careful with dirtying towels. Our only issue was having 2 towels for 3 people but we managed. There was extra toilet roll and shower gel left in bathroom along with bucket and mop if we chose to use. My only concern with the cleaning was when we discovered a child’s hat under the cushions on the back of the sofa. Suggested not fully cleaned from previous holidaymakers but the sheets on sofa were clean. No-one else in our party had any complaints. We couldn’t really criticise the rooms. Moving on to the food (we were half board), again we couldn’t complain too much. My 13 year old is extremely fussy but was happy to eat plain pasta, sweetcorn and some meat every night. I do think the options were quite limited but we appreciated the fact we weren’t over eating. There was only one night when we didn’t enjoy our food. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. I read somewhere that potato choices were limited on some nights and I would agree. On a couple of nights there were only fries, which I never tried and my 13 year old didn’t eat. Next the entertainment. Overall pretty bad. There was a Lady Victoria singer one evening who was very good but nothing else we enjoyed. The parrot show was fine for little kids but not for us. Luckily, lots of local bars offering alternative options. The swimming pools were a bit disappointing. They really need a few repaid but our teen girls and myself went in along with our 79 year old. They are very small and freezing cold so as long as you just want to cool off and not swim, it’s fine. The main pool gets busy so we never got a sun bed there. The rectangle pool was unappealing and no-one went in it. The issue was the selfish attitude of some users. Teenage boys and men kicking football around poolside, the men in particular hitting myself and other members of our party with the ball, they were also hitting peoples windows and glass doors if their room was poolside.
