I travelled as part of a group a few months ago. We were extremely impressed with the hotel and the friendly staff. The rooms were clean and well presented. The staff were always very attentive. In particular there was a cleaner with dark curly hair (a Portuguese or Spanish lady?) she was extremely polite and very welcoming.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre, in The rooms are shared, at least the one we picked up, with 2 beds. The beds are very comfortable and everything is very clean. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and was very comfortable. The hotel was very friendly and helpful to find the room, because the hotel team was not there.
We did not get a good night's sleep here. It was a hot night and there was only one window in the room that opened onto the street. This meant that: 1) our room was inundated with cigarette smoke from the restaurant downstairs; and 2) the streetlights kept us awake (if you closed the blackout curtain, no air got it.) The mattresses on the bed were cheap and uncomfortable with only one thick blanket, which wasn't appropriate for the weather. The rest of the room was very bare bones. We picked this hotel because we thought it would be cute to stay in old town Chur, but it really wasn't. Not sure if there are better options in Chur, but I would keep looking!

While this hotel was acceptable with no deal breakers, I don’t believe it deserves a 4 star rating. Perhaps this was given due to its history and Michelin rated restaurants. Had it been rated a 3 star, I might have given it a better review. The good - staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station and well located in the historic center near shops and restaurants. The mediocre - the rooms, clean and sizable if you paid for it, but in no way special. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable with variety, but again, nothing special (croissants were fresh and delicious). The bad - while the hotel was generally clean, the carpet on the public stairs was kind of disgusting. No A/C anywhere. In July this could be a problem for some. The nights were quite pleasant and you could leave your window open if you don’t mind the noise. They do provide you with a floor fan, which was great for us Americans used to AC.
We made reservations here at the last minute, picking the hotel for its proximity to the train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. We were there during the middle of the week in the off-season, but the service quality was excellent. We ate at the restaurant (we were among a handful of diners that night) not expecting much given the off-season. But the food was excellently prepared with thoughtfulness and high quality ingredients. It's a large hotel, much larger than we expected. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was a good size.
Super convenient location, as soon as the train station is out, walk 1-2 to the hotel 🏨

A very lovely hotel in chur. Nice hotel, our room was mountain view, room spacious, hotel connected to shopping mall. The receptionist lady was very friendly and kind too. Wish we had more time to stay longer in chur and this hotel. Lovely city with lovely people. Will be glad to come back to this hotel on our bext visit to Chur.
We chose this hotel as we were trying to stick to a budget, and this fitted in nicely. Slightly worried that the accommodation is made for a budget traveller as we like to splash out on our hotels……however we needn’t have worried! Sure enough, this is no 5* hotel however it is located extremely conveniently in the old town right next to all the things you would want to visit…..with excellent views of the snow capped Alps. The reception team were courteous, gave us all the sufficient information we needed and allowed us to store our luggage whilst we waited for our room to be ready. Once in the room, it was actually very large with two single beds next to each other. Crisp white sheets and a softer than I would have liked mattress, but comfortable nonetheless. Plenty of storage space, little biscuits placed on our pillows and plenty of warm heat coming from the radiators. Separate bathroom which had plenty of hot water, not the strongest of pressure coming out but adequate. The reception team are on hand until 2200pm, but they give you a key to access the hotel once they lock the doors. The room was pretty sound proof, but you could hear others guests in the hallway which wasn’t really bothersome. The lift is very small but fitted two people in plus luggage, but there are stairs up to reception so that part isn’t very accessible if you can’t do stairs. The hotel is only 7 minute walk to the train station which was super convenient for catching our 0828am Bernina Express train! Overall a very nice stay! One word of warning - check your booking includes en-suite bathroom, not all rooms have en-suite.
As a transit point in and out of the mountains, this hotel in Chur is very suitable. The staff is enthusiastic, the service is professional, the sanitary condition of the hotel is very good, and the rooms are big enough. If it is a temporary one-night stay before going to the mountains, it is very suitable. The hardware conditions are average, but since it is a transit hotel, the requirements are not so high. As the first ancient city in Switzerland, Chur still has a special charm. It is good to spend half a day strolling around. In addition, the canton of Graubingen, where Chur is located, is highly recommended. So far, not many Chinese tourists go to skiing in winter and hiking in summer. There are Bernina Express and Glacier Express to sit, and you can also go to the origin of the Rhine to see the canyon and hike. Zurich is also convenient in the past.
This very unassuming hotel is located conveniently right in the heart of charming Chur and just a 10 minute walk from the train station. My room was nothing special but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the real Five Star experience came in the dining room. I was not prepared for the depth of the menu and the quality of the service in an absolutely beautiful setting. It was one of the best meals I've had anywhere! I only wish that I had had another day to enjoy more great food.

Albula-Bernina express, RhB
LLGKMYThe journey from Chur (Switzerland) to Tirano (Italy) and back to Chur will take almost the whole day. I’d consider this as one of the most beautiful scenic trains in the world. Bernina Express will not disappoint you. Lifetime experience indeed.
Bundner Kunstmuseum
MM32***23The State Art Gallery of Chur is located in the center of Chur. The gallery has a large collection of artworks, mainly paintings and sculptures from the 18th century to the present. In particular, it displays many works by local artists of Graubünden, such as Giacometti, Segantini, Kalije, Kruhner, etc., which are of high artistic appreciation value.

PppebbleeThe Swiss Pass is valid, not very large, the content span includes archaeological discovery, rights, beliefs, knowledge, etc. The time span has been from ancient times to the present. Unfortunately, the interior cannot be photographed, and the small garden outside is beautiful.
