Wir steigen aus dem Flugzeug, fahren ganz gemütlich und sind in 4 Stunden in unseren 2. Zuhause. Ja, so muss man sagen. Hier fühlen wir uns willkommen. Die Unterkunft könnte nicht besser sein, das Essen und die Getränke. Es werden sehr viele interessante Unternehmungen angeboten. Das beste aber sind die Menschen in Cederberg Ridge - einfach herzlich. Die Natur zeigt jedes Mal ein anderes Gesicht. Wir könnten eigentlich nur auf unserer Terasse sitzen und die Natur bestaunen.

This little treasure is just outside Clanwilliam and a perfect jump-off point to explore the Cedarberg mountains. Ideal for the flower season as the Bidou Valley and Niewoudville are an hour or so away. Superb service, food, and hospitality. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and every little spoil has been included - right down to your candle-lit turn-down and home made chocolates on your pillow! Two swimming pools give you plenty of privacy, and there are wonderful activities, from e-bikes, hikes, coastal tours and much more. We felt it offered excellent value for money. As tour operators, we strongly recommend this little lodge.

An absolute must-visit if you’re seeking a serene escape to recharge. Beautiful rooms, stunning surroundings, incredible food — I’d recommend it any day. Perfect for friends and couples.

Beautiful peaceful and tranquil setting completely surrounded by mountains. Rooms (suites really) are vast and beautiful with window seats and floor to ceiling glass doors so you can see the mountains from your bed, plus indoor and outside showers. Toiletries provided are divine. Service is excellent. Unfortunately what lets Cederberg Ridge down are the food options. Same menu every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a daily special at each meal. This meant that choices were quite limited. Whilst elegantly presented with very fresh ingredients, we felt the dishes were over-complicated by using too many different flavours, sauces etc.

A sense of calm washes over you from the moment you arrive, absolutely gorgeous views over the mountains, the rooms are lovely with your own private patio, which is difficult to leave….but do try the activities that they lay on, nature walks, scenic drives etc….the staff are so friendly, you won’t want to leave!
