The view from the main property on the dune allows for breathtaking sunsets while enjoying your favourite drink. "We absolutely loved our time at Simbivati. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The lodges are beautifully laid out, big and private. We loved the outdoor shower. The beds are really comfortable with good pillows. There is loads of storage. The fridge and teabags etc were stocked up at least once if not twice a day. The view from the rooms is of the beautiful surrounding hills. The trips on offer were very good especially the speed boat ride on the dam with drinks and snacks on the shore. There were always plenty of towels round the pools which were clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks were good with lots of choice. The selection of treatments at the spa is comprehensive and the massage I had was very good. The staff ran us a bath on the last night of our stay and lit several candles in the bathroom which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We will hopefully be back in the future and would definitely recommend a stay here."

Just 1 bulb in the room that hardly stand for 2 hours of load shedding. The food in the restaurant is very average and certain things on the menu were not available. Breakfast is also very basic. Rooms are clean and have good beds. Staff is friendly."

"Stunning remote location with fabulous views. Food was all delicious, especially the private dining experience in the old shepherds hut. Willow the chef did us a whole feast and our guide Tristan was very knowledgeable on everything at BK including the fynbos, stars and rock art. The spa treatments were very relaxing and we enjoyed the drive, hiking and the gym. The whole team were attentive and professional. We stayed in Paterson and was well appointed with a massive patio and sitting room with a fire, which is definitely needed in Winter months!"
