Great breakfast, the room is cozy , also the location is at the center, for self driving you need to park in the public car parking which is 3 mins walk away

An attractive smart boutique place to stay. Our room was large and comfortable, smartly decorated, and reached by quite a few stairs and a door that does not open fully due to the ceiling. The dormer windows have very thin material so no light reducing capabilities at all, which was not great. The shower water was quite warm even when set on "cold". I had issues with the power sockets not always working. The USB points are very useful. Breakfast was good although a bowl of diced fruit salad would be nice and expected for a place like this. Dinner was of a high quality with a friendly staff member, although there was an annoying issue with trying to charge to the room and manager was available.

We thought we booked a table for Sunday 10th August but we actually booked it for Saturday 9th August by mistake! The staff were so lovely and kind and still managed to fit us in. We both had the beef roast and wow, it was simply amazing. For the money, the portion size was great. We will for sure be going back and telling family and friends about how gorgeous this place is!

The staff we met on reception and on the dining room were smashing, polite & helpful, especially the staff at breakfast . Room number 4, a feature room was on the whole disappointing, to be fair when I asked for things they were provided eg very slippery shower floor so I requested a bath mat, no tissues in the room, I do not travel with my own box! Bathroom bin was replaced when I showed a photo of what seemed to be black paint all over it, the shower ceiling had peeling paint and the floor was stained and grout missing. A feature room is one of the most expensive rooms and lacked the 'little somethings'...cobweb on a lamp and bedside lamps hanging by their wire so they could not be directed so book reading at night was done with a main lights on. As I said, staff very nice but no identity badges so I did not know who I was talking to unless Iasked. Staying in another chain,Coaching Inn Group, the rooms do have little extras eg, digital radio and digital TV. The fire alarm went off at 6.30am 22nd, apparently by someone having a hot shower, so I was told! Room 4 has a narrow door to fit through, it hits the wall as you enter, plus an alarm that sounds if not closed properly which has been pulled by so many guests the door handle and panel were loose on the outside, alarm sounded everything to closed the door. Over £400 for 2 nights expected better quality, hole on the throw on the bed, slicker finish all round needed, as I said though, nice staff.

Came here for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful location and in a Tudor building. Service and quality of breakfast outstanding. Our room was perfectly adequate for a couple, spotlessly clean with full size White Company products. All the staff were attentive and very polite so I am surprised by some negative comments in previous reviews. Cirencester is a wonder town with many Roman artefacts and an excellent Museum. Whilst here we explored Cirencester Park which is worth the £4 entry for out of tourists . My only negative being we didn’t book a taxi from Kemble station and phoned several cab companies but none would collect us. Buses on a Saturday are every 4 hours. Decided to walk into Cirencester with our backpacks stuffed with luggage. We made it 3/4 of the way when a kindly farmer offered us a lift in his very smart Range Rover . At 70 years old Stranger Danger isn’t a worry.
