Had a wonderful stay in Jingangbei! The room was big and clean, the balcony was super cute and had a great view. The village itself ist very beautiful, and the pools are amazing. A special thank you to the very nice and helpful staff and to the shuttle bus drivers who helped with my lagguage! I'm looking forward to stay with you again.

I enjoyed staying here very much. It is outside the ancient town but the bus is always on call and comes quickly, so it is convenient. I really enjoyed the breakfast and enjoyed eating it under the trees. The hot springs tickets included is excellent value and I visited both hot springs. I lived this town and the hotel was good

Nearby are the Jialing River and Wentang Gorge, offering opportunities for fishing. Meals are relatively expensive, but the hot springs are decent, and some private hot springs may be booked out. For hot springs in the summer, it's recommended to stay near Xiangyangyuan, a semi-indoor hot spring that's both sun- and rain-proof. The hot spring hotel reception is located at the entrance to the village. Taxis and private cars are generally not allowed into the village, but if you've called an online ride-hailing service, you can provide your license plate number to the front desk upon check-out and they'll pick you up. Chongqing was the last stop on our trip, and we chose Jingangbei Village as our final destination to experience ancient village life. We stayed at a sunrise-viewing guesthouse near the infinity pool. It was close to the infinity pool and the breakfast restaurant, which offered small noodles and porridge. The infinity pool is shallow and small, so a morning swim can be quite sunny. Thankfully, the bellhops (as they call them at the front desk) helped with our luggage to our room. Upon check-out, you can ask them to come and help with your luggage, and they were very helpful. The mountain village does have many steps, making it difficult to carry large luggage up and down. I'd read reviews suggesting that rooms with large luggage shouldn't be booked for sunrise views, but we booked them without any issues. I came here primarily to experience life, experiencing both sunny and rainy days. After the rain, the water flowed down the stone steps above into the ditch, and I watched the water in the ditch turn from clear to murky. The village looked even fresher after the rain, and I encountered tourists snapping photos with their cameras. The best part was getting up early and heading to the river. There was a rocky beach where many anglers gathered, and you could see plenty of small fish on the rocks in the shallows. I'd love to stay here again if I had the chance.

The entire resort is nestled in the mountains. The ancient village is well-preserved, offering a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The commercialization is reasonable, creating a unique atmosphere without losing its historical charm. The route is a bit circuitous; I've never taken such a circuitous route in Guizhou. The hot springs could also benefit from better cleaning. During less-crowded seasons, it's even more luxurious and affordable for business travelers. I hope the hotel can maintain this quality.

Overall, I was quite satisfied. The shower was incredibly small, the bed was okay, and the breakfast was just okay. The scenic area was quite deserted, probably due to the hot weather. The fruit beer I redeemed for points couldn't be delivered to the room, and I had to dine in at a designated time. As expected, I didn't get to eat there, as the restaurant didn't open until after 10 a.m. This was a very bad thing. There was no service at all, it felt like living in an apartment. Once you got the code, no one cared.

I actually like this place. But this time, I was really disappointed with the room. The room type I booked was very different in size. When I asked the front desk, she said I made a mistake and should have booked a certain name. However, Ctrip customer service later said that they only have one room type, but the size is very different. This is very frustrating to deceive customers.
