Excel Hotel Reviews

This hotel rated as 4/5 Stars with grand lobby, yet very bad laundry service at 10F with only one Washer and Dryer (broken too).   Also, window air lock is poor (noise leak) and broken phone.  Office chair broken (sinking) too. Room size is small and outdated.

The hotel and room was excellent. The only thing is that I don’t understand why they didn’t pick up the trash we put to leave. But besides that everything is a 10/10

Although the Excel Hotel has been around for quite some time, it is still a very efficient hotel situated near to the Chongqing North Railway Station South Square. Commuting by subway and train is very easy. However, some of the fixtures need repair and maintenance. The reception staff are very helpful. I made an error with my reservation and I explained how the error occurred. They accepted my explanation and allowed me to cancel the last night of my reservation with full refund!

Convenient to take train for next day trip 🙋♂️

Great hotel for price range and good walking distance from train station and metro station. Only 20 minutes from most places we travelled to by car which is also good. Only downside (for me) is that they didn’t have a western breakfast option.

The hotel is in a very good location, with many restaurants outside the hotel. The room is large, the facilities are very good, the bedding is relatively clean, the service is very considerate, it is very quiet at night, and it is very close to the high-speed rail station, which can be reached in ten minutes on foot.

How can I say this? I'm here to review this hotel again. This time, I found that there were some problems with the bathroom, but basically there were no major problems. I guess the hotel has been around for a long time and didn't pay much attention to these small details.

This hotel is really great, the room is clean and tidy, the service is considerate, the breakfast is super rich, the location is convenient and close to the North Station, and it is easy to travel. I sincerely recommend it and will choose here next time. The experience is perfect!

I stayed at Chongqing Yikesha Hotel on a business trip in Chongqing. The experience was super 🎉! The front desk service was very enthusiastic. Manager Chen at the front desk also helped me deliver my luggage to the door of the room. The room was clean and tidy, the fruits were exquisite and thoughtful, and the view was also very good. The hotel is very close to the train station and subway station, which is very convenient for travel. There is also a Granny Bear Garden next to it, which is very comfortable to bask in the sun. I didn't go out at night, and ordered takeout with my colleagues, and there was a robot delivering it to the door, which was great! I will choose here again when I come to Chongqing in the future!

I have stayed in so many hotels, but this one really impressed me! It is right next to the high-speed rail station, which is very convenient whether you drive or take public transportation. There is a very popular hot pot restaurant not far downstairs. You have to queue every time you go there, but the taste is really worth the wait. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, with complete facilities and rich breakfast. Good reviews!

The most satisfactory hotel I have stayed in for many business trips! The front desk service is professional and efficient, and the check-in procedure was completed in 3 minutes. The room is transparent. When I was catching the high-speed rail in the early morning, I found that I forgot to print the document, and the staff helped me solve it in 5 minutes. The high-ceiling design of the lobby with crystal lamps is super grand. It only takes 8 minutes to walk to Chongqing North Station. There is also a 24-hour noodle restaurant opposite, so you can eat authentic Chongqing noodles even if you arrive late at night!

This hotel is really worth recommending! The facilities and equipment are good, the WiFi speed is also good, and it is very convenient for work and entertainment. The service staff responded quickly, solved the problems immediately, and sent welcome fruits. The hygiene is excellent, the room is cleaned very carefully every day, and the overall feeling is very comfortable. I will come again on my next trip!
