The view from our room was stunning. The window was huge, and it looked over the pickleball court. The location is also fantastic. There's so much to do around the Fulton market area and the food scene was popping. The aesthetic and vibes of the hotel are cool too! The food and service at the hotel restaurant were really subpar. My avocado toast did not have a lot of avocado. The thing I like about avocado toast is it feels a little healthy but this one was ridiculously oily from the sauce. The servers were not very attentive. The bed was not as soft or comfortable as what I was expecting. Even with the windows and curtains closed, it was very loud and I could hear music from outside/downstairs. Overall I expect higher quality sleep from a hotel room. The room had a few other things that were off; like a chip in the flooring, a lightbulb not working.

We are a well-traveled couple. We suggest you look elsewhere for accomodations. The noise from the L and the unruly crowd that gathers on Friday and Saturday night could clearly be heard in our 10th-floor room. Cars surrounding this apparent “Hot Club” with engines revving and bass thumping until 2AM. We had trouble sleeping. Then there are the downright shabby towels, the tiny room with sub-standard pillows, no real closet, and not much for your $400+ per night in the way of perks. Nice decor, with lots of fine art in the lobby, but the other decor choices (hallways) are suspect. The good: The location is one block from Fulton Market. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The breakfast at the restaurant was good. They have a small rooftop pool with a limited menu bar. The Speakeasy in the basement is not really a speakeasy, but we enjoyed it. The good just couldn't outweigh the negatives. The OMNI and the Hilton provide upscale accommodations at substantially lower prices. Other than the lobby, this is not really an upscale option. Remember LOUD.

My first time at a Hoxton and only my 2nd stay in Chicago. Genuinely a joy from start to finish, wonderful location, lovely building, great choices in the restaurants and bars.

Great location for restaurants and bars. The bar in the hotel is wildly popular! However, the room is pretty small, and the bathroom had a strong musty odor the entire time we were there due to inadequate ventilation.

A beautifully decorated hotel in a great neighborhood. But the room was tiny and poorly lit. The Saturday night party scene was noisy and lasted until the wee hours of the morning. Overall, I don't think the price justified the experience.
