Chengdu Huaxuan One-night Homestay (Hongxingqiao Subway Station) Reviews

This is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. As a family of four, it can be challenging to find a hotel with two queen-size beds in one room. This Airbnb features a king-size bed and a queen-size bed, which is ideal for us. Additionally, the room is spacious enough to include a comfortable sitting area. The mattresses strike the perfect balance—not too firm and not too soft. The room is equipped with a reversible air conditioner and heater. Since we’re not accustomed to cold weather, we had some trouble sleeping the first night, but after I mentioned it to the owner, she quickly provided us with an electric blanket. The service here was outstanding, and we will definitely stay again when we visit Chengdu next time. **Things I liked about this Airbnb:** 1. Free laundry service, which was a lifesaver for us. 2. Just two stops from the city center; the metro station is right outside the building. 3. Located in a safe area with 24-hour security. 4. Numerous local restaurants, a convenience store, a McDonald's, and a bakery offering Western pastries downstairs. 5. Nice view from the window, and it’s quiet at night. **Suggestions for improvement:** 1. More hooks for bath towels in the bathroom. 2. Additional clothing hangers. 3. A laundry basket or bag as It’s not pleasant to see other guests leaving piles of dirty laundry outside their rooms. 4. Provide tea bags and instant coffee would be a nice touch.

Very comfortable stay, way way way exceeded my expectations. Location is just outside of the train station with food options and convenience stores all around. Check-in was smooth and hosts were very thoughtful to even help us carry our luggages. The room was huge and clean and has all the amenities you will need. Bed was very big and comfortable, every night we would hit the bed and doze right off to bed. The room comes with free breakfast every morning (only managed to take one days breakfast cause most other days I would just gobble the food up when I get them). The host would always check that we are up before she prepares the food so the breakfast and coffee are always warm when they get to us. Another very commendable point is that the host is very helpful with helping us with tasks like picking up taobao parcels and our laundry. I sincerely want to thank everyone to make this such an enjoyable stay for us. We will definitely be back!

Location was very very convenient! Less than a minute walk to the nearest metro station! The owner was very friendly and helpful during my stay. She good food recommendations and activities I could do. It was 10/10 worth the money! Thank you and I will come back to stay here when I’m in Chengdu

The rooms were clean and bedding very comfortable, thoughtful elegant décor with a special touch. Proprietors went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. High floor with great views. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Chengdu

Everything was good, except for a few minor things. The owner of the apartment was very helpful in all things I needed and reacted quickly. She did a great job. For example she asked when I would usually like to get up and brought the breakfast to the door a few minutes before that, and also adapted the drink to my wishes. Also she was great to chat with. The room has everything I needed as well. Even a mini fridge and a well working air conditioner. Also it has many lighting options, and a few plants. Although the plants could use a little bit more care, I guess. Maybe they were not treated well by previous guests. The air conditioner and TV are all Chinese, so you will either have to guess a lot or learn some basic Chinese, or ask the helpful owner how to set them up according to your wishes. The bathroom is looking great and it is clean. Fresh towels and other necessities are provided. Everything looked fresh and clean actually. The only minor things that appeared to me in the bathroom are that the toilet smelled a little. After mentioning it, the owner quickly solved the issue, so the problem no longer existed. The view from up there was also great, at day and at night. It seems Chengdu never really sleeps. Sometimes one could hear some car blare, even though this apartment was so far up, but it was not too loud and did not impact my sleep, so it was fine. The location could not be much better than it is. When you exit the nearby metro station at exit C, you are almost falling into the building, where the apartment is. I wish I could have spent more time in this apartment and gotten to know the cats. I had a great stay.

There was a mix up as we booked a few rooms and there were no proper reception to meet the lady who manages the guests. It was helpful to have a mandarin speaking friend who manages to communicate and resolve the meet up place quickly. The rooms are in an office building with no signboards at the lobby as it was a homestay instead of hotel. Anyway the rooms are really spacious with great views of the cities as they were corner units. Full facilities and comfortable bed and yummy breakfast with coffee/soya bean as we were bored with noodles and buns for breakfast. Value for money as the building is right in front of the subway

Location near Metro and lots of restaurants (McD and other local restaurants) within walking distance. Has a Metro within 20m. Not many places to shop within walking distance. Need to take metro /taxi elsewhere. Rooms are very spacious and no cigarette smells, which is great ( we booked smoking room as there was no non-smoking room choice). Nicely decorated and very spacious - but not practical. There’s a tree in the living room and kinda restricts movement due to its low hanging branches. Has heater in the room ( a must have during winter!). Great view of Chendu from the room. As this is a B&B type, need to arrange with the owner /person in charge (MeiYa) before arrival so that she will wait for you to arrive and then check in as there is no reception. Very friendly and great service. Breakfast is mainly sandwiches and changed daily. Quite nice. They will leave breakfast on a bamboo basket outside your door and you can collect it. All rooms are more or less identical irregardless whether for couple or single. Some rooms need to climb the stairs to reach. Level 31 and Level 35 has direct access. Other floors need to climb one flight of stairs, which is manageable. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Excellent services with friendly and timely responses!

The lady boss was very considerate and told us that we had to use a shower in Chengdu. Breakfast was delivered to our door, so we could be a night owl and not get up in the morning. But it was still very considerate. The high floor was quiet and the environment was good. The room was big and not cramped!

We stayed for six nights in total. On the first day of our stay, the owner upgraded our room. The room was very clean and had a large bathtub. The owner would personally deliver breakfast to us every day. We met the stray cat Xiaobai that the owner adopted. Every time he said he wanted to see Xiaobai, the owner would push a cart to bring Baibai to me. Baibai accompanied me three times. Thank you, boss, and thank you for accompanying me in the limited time. The boss's family has adopted about 30 stray cats, Xiaobai is one of them, and a very small Sanhua was also seen. The boss said that she had to feed milk powder every three or four hours. Thumbs up for such a kind and loving boss! I wish the boss and his family peace and good luck, and I also wish that all stray cats and dogs in the world can be treated gently by the world.

I stayed at the Treasure B&B when traveling with my boyfriend. As soon as I entered, I felt that the owner had really good taste. The room was super atmospheric (I like it). I didn't expect that the owner would personally deliver breakfast and special drinks in the morning. The service was so thoughtful! I look forward to coming again next time!

This person came to travel this time. The room was super nice, facing the 339i TV tower, and the night view was great. The bed in the room was king-size, and it was super comfortable to lie on it alone. It is worth mentioning that the mattress and pillow were super comfortable, very thick and soft. Later I asked the host sister and she said they were specially customized! Everything was good, but I felt that the napkin was a little too thin, and it could be changed

I really like the style of the room. The lighting is fully arranged. The facilities are all new. The room and the entrance door have a high safety factor. The lady is very enthusiastic and nice. This is the best place to stay during this trip. I hope it will become bigger and stronger! ~

It is in the north of Chengdu, but right next to the subway station, and it is very convenient to go to Chunxi Road and Dongjiao Memory. Chengdu is not big anyway. The room is decorated in a retro style, with a high-rise view. I stayed there for three consecutive days. I was afraid of trouble, but I felt good and continued to stay.
