Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Chengdu

Five-star service! Upon arrival, we received a complimentary upgrade to a family room, which was incredibly spacious and new, and included breakfast. Compared to the cramped and overpriced hotel we stayed at near Chunxi Road for the previous two nights, this place offered fantastic value for money. Dining options near the hotel were also very convenient. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Renmin Park and Kuanzhai Alley, and getting a taxi was easy – unlike Chunxi Road, the area wasn't nearly as congested.

I stayed solo at the Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Gulou. The cleanliness far exceeded my expectations, the service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, and the facilities were also top-notch. Its great location made getting around incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, easily earning a five-star rating. I'll definitely be back!

A triple room with a self-service washing machine and dryer was my top priority when booking. **Pros:** 1. The staff were very service-minded, relatively young, and enthusiastic. 2. The complimentary buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious. I was particularly impressed to see a hotel with two coffee machines, which was a great touch. 3. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and there was always plenty of hot water. 4. Having a washing machine and dryer available was a lifesaver for our laundry needs. 5. The gym was well-equipped, featuring air conditioning, fresh towels, and complimentary bottled mineral water. **Cons:** 1. Some of the hotel's facilities felt a bit dated, but they were all perfectly functional. Whenever we reported an issue to the front desk, an engineer was dispatched promptly to resolve it, so our overall experience remained positive. 2. The washing machine and dryer are separate units, with typical cycles taking 25 and 45 minutes respectively. This means it can be inconvenient if you finish washing but then have to wait for a dryer to become available. It's not as advanced as some high-tech domestic chains that offer integrated washer-dryers and even allow guests to check their availability from their rooms. 3. The hotel is quite a distance from the subway station, and to make matters worse, the nearest subway entrance is currently under construction. **Summary:** Although the hotel is named 'Du Fu Thatched Cottage Branch,' it's actually over 5 kilometers away and requires a taxi to reach. However, if your itinerary is focused on the northwest part of the city, this hotel could be a suitable option, and getting a taxi from the entrance is very convenient.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Wuhou and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean, which made my stay very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I would especially like to commend the front desk staff, particularly a lady named Amy from the Front Office Department. She was very professional, courteous, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Her warm and welcoming attitude truly stood out and added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu. The combination of cleanliness, excellent service, and a great location makes it a top choice for travelers. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Fantastic experience! The hotel lobby was very bright, and the staff were warm, professional, and thoughtfully answered all our questions. Our room was well-equipped with a great view, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The overall environment was excellent, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The location is very convenient for transportation, and it's not far from the airport.

Pros: The location is excellent. It's right outside the Huapaifang subway station, and there are many great restaurants nearby. The hotel service is very good; they respond quickly to any requests. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it's thoughtfully designed and sufficient for our needs. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing of the room doors could be better. During holidays, there were children shouting and running in the corridor (I hope parents traveling with kids can be more mindful). At check-out, they thoughtfully gave a small keychain to our child, which was a nice touch. Overall, if I visit Chengdu again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

This is an excellent pick for esports enthusiasts. It's incredibly close to the AG Esports Center, making it super convenient. The rooms are spotless and comfy, and the staff provides truly warm and attentive service. The location is fantastic, and getting to/from the airport is a breeze – only about 20 minutes away. A huge shout-out to CC at the front desk for her incredibly helpful and thoughtful service! Check-in was super quick, and it offers amazing value for money. I can't recommend it enough!

Love my stay in holiday inn. Stayed 2 nights for $122 includes breakfast. Most enjoyable breakfast throughout my holiday. Chose this hotel due to 青成山and 都江堰. However, it is one station to the high speed train. Most importantly is the service, they collate the parcels we send to them.

Very cozy, the area is just right, not too empty, but it's a bit troublesome to park and record the car number. The breakfast is also OK and quite rich. . But for business trips, without a car, the location is not very convenient
