Fraser Place Hotels in Chengdu

I stayed here for eleven nights in a one-bedroom apartment suite, and overall I was quite satisfied, though there were a few minor issues. First, the positives: the biggest advantage is the well-equipped room. As a serviced apartment, it not only has a refrigerator, induction hob, microwave, and a washer-dryer, but also a full set of branded dinnerware and kitchen utensils. Amenities expected at this level, like a capsule coffee machine, Bose sound system, and a bathtub for soaking, are all provided. The public facilities are decent, with a high-floor infinity pool and a gym. Regarding service, the housekeeping staff, in particular, were very thoughtful and attentive, which was commendable. Now for the two areas that could be improved: 1) The hotel is quite new, and the furniture still has a noticeable odor. It seems the rooms aren't regularly aired out when vacant, so upon entering, the smell was quite strong. With ventilation and an air purifier, it quickly dissipated, but it does leave a less-than-ideal first impression. I suggest airing out rooms in advance, depending on bookings. 2) The size of the hotel restaurant doesn't quite match the number of rooms. When the hotel is full, seating in the breakfast area is tight, sometimes even requiring a wait. I recommend expanding the restaurant or, given its apartment-style nature, offering in-room dining services.
