This hotel are located at the edge of the old town. This is a super friendly place to be in. We felt so at home! We were treated with tea, fresh fruits, and even the insects oily. We could wash and hanged our cloths for drying just like our own home. The rooms and the entire hotel were so beautiful and full of characters. There are two lovely dogs living in the hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chaozhou!

Great hosts. Room is clean and that's all I need. If you want to experience living in a old traditional Chinese home, this is it! A bit difficult to find. It's at the end of another alley.

Very traditional styled place which is very beautifully kept. Owner is very friendly and will invite you to have tea, fruits and biscuits. Location is perfect, near enough to the main tourist spots to walk but far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. Only setback with being traditional is that the room was not made for air conditioning, so it has some condensation water. But overall I would still recommend this place due to it's feel and location.

Going out from the back door of the homestay is Jiadi Lane, where many old houses and courtyards are located. Crossing Jiadi Lane, you will reach Paifang Street, the main street of the ancient city. Crossing Paifang Street, you can reach Xiashuimen, Guangji Tower, and Guangji Bridge. All the attractions are so natural.

I have always wanted to have a chance to stay in the traditional Sidianjin residence in Chaoshan. This time when I came to Chaozhou, I found a treasure homestay, which was converted from a yard of a two-horse trailer (larger than Sidianjin). The two landlady sisters kept the yard clean and tidy. The yard is in the ancient city of Chaozhou, and most of the attractions can be visited on foot.

The environment is very good, with its own courtyard, antique style, and tea sets on each small table in the courtyard, so you can boil water and drink tea yourself, which is super comfortable. The room is relatively small, and the facilities are average, but it is sufficient. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, with an electric toilet, and it is very quiet at night.
