"The hotel is nestled in a vast, meticulously maintained tropical garden (a real botanical garden!). It's a beautiful spot with a cozy, exotic atmosphere. You have direct access to a quiet beach and the sea. The breakfasts are excellent with a huge variety of dishes – tasty and diverse. The villas are comfortable with large terraces, but the rooms themselves could use a cosmetic refresh and more thorough cleaning. The hotel should replace the linens and towels; they're old and often stained. Also, some lighting for the villa number signs would be helpful. It's quite difficult to find your villa in the dark for the first day or two until you get used to it. The front desk staff are good and professional. During the low season (early May), the hotel's special offer price made it great value. It's just a little short of being a 5-star property. Overall, very good. I'd recommend it specifically for the low season. The hotel's location is super convenient; right outside the grounds, you'll find shops, restaurants, a supermarket, currency exchange, pharmacies, and everything else you need. The security guards were a bit amusing, constantly asking for our room number, even when heading out to the public beach (not a private one!) 😂"

"Pros: 1. It's a resort spread over a few acres. The reception is also very big. 2. They only have individual villas & spread over multiple lanes. 3. Lot of place to walk around. Cons: 1. Wifi works only in the reception, not in any other part of the hotel. 2. Rooms had sand on the floor & it hadn't been cleaned properly. 3. They have wooden flooring which has worn out. They have stuck the planks with tape in some spots & planks have loosened in some spots. 4. Bathrooms need urgent renovation, all fixtures are old / dysfunctional, did not feel comfortable to use it. I was so uncomfortable with the bathroom that I did not take bath while at the hotel. After we checked into the other hotel with a longer stay, I took bath late in the day. 5. Breakfast options were limited & not appetizing at all."

"Just returned from a two week stay. We had a wonderful time. Total pleasure and relaxation. We loved the hotel and the position. The staff were fantastic. Very good food and plenty of variety. Recommend you take your own coffee and Marmalade. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Excellent housekeeping. Restaurant very good, fantastic atmosphere, lots of entertainment. Poole area, shaded. This was ideal for us. Lots of returning guests. We fully intend to book again for next year."

"The hotel is located beside the beautiful Sal river. A little inside from the main road, hence no road side noise. We had booked normal room, but it's upgraded to cottage room due to some issue with the room we'd booked. The room we stayed was well maintained, only problem was the AC, as it's automatically set, at early morning its becoming super cold. I was unable to set it with the remote (not a big issue though). 0nly breakfast was available. The food was awesome. All the staff were very helpful. The beach, shacks, restaurants with live music and shops were just a walk away."
