I happened to pass by and the hotel looked good, so I canceled my original reservation and stayed there. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant interior is luxurious. The room was in good condition, but there was a bit of noise because it was close to the road. I went because they said the swimming pool was open until 12 o'clock. I was a little taken aback when I heard that it would finish at 11:30 while I was using it. Other than that, everything was satisfactory.

This is cozy, very nice small hotel. All personal speak English, service is very friendly, a lot of useful and pleasant details,elevator. Location is good , central.Clean, room has everything what you need (bathrobe,sleepers,safe), bar, restaurant on 6th floor.Breakfast was served in a very comportable room, good quality, elegant decorated with very tasty sparkling rose. Thank you!

Swimming pool, food was amazing, staff were extremely helpful, hotel room was stunning 😍 will definitely come back again! The late check in is a little disappointing but no problems at all!

Service attitude is average 4 stars, individual service staff need to be improved Although the room is an executive room, you have to ask for toiletries by yourself. The overall living experience is barely passable and could be better

This time we were disappointed with the choice of hotel: the hotel is tired and the service leaves much to be desired. This is our second time staying here. I liked it last time. We warned in advance that we were moving in after the wedding and we were on a honeymoon. At the reception they said that they saw our comment and offered us to pay for the wedding package. No amenities from the hotel. When asked about afternoon tea, they said that it was also a separate paid option. We had a club room which included coffee, tea and biscuits all day. There is no variety compared to other hotels. The room is very tired and needs renovation. We went to the spa. In a huge multi-storey hotel there is a small sauna for 6 people and the same hammam. The Jacuzzi didn't work. There are only 2 in the recreation area!! sun lounger The pool is on a separate floor and has cold water. Unfortunately, the hotel is not worth the money. We were left disappointed.

I recently stayed at Royal Tulip and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived at 2 AM we were given rooms for check in without any hurdle, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and offered a stunning view of the Lake. The amenities were top-notch, particularly the luxurious spa and the rooftop pool, which provided a perfect spot to unwind. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet had an impressive variety of options. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the local attractions, and the concierge team provided excellent recommendations. Overall, my stay at Royal Tulip exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service.

This review is for the ”Small Double Room” that we stayed at. We booked 3 of such rooms for a party of 6 (ie. 2 to a room). These rooms are situated on the ground floor and are so tiny that there isn't even any space for our luggage. The main area outside our rooms was very small, and it was very noisy late at night when guests came back and climbed up the stairs (there's no lift!). The plumbing system in one of the rooms was faulty and a bad sewerage smell engulfed the whole room. The staff was nice enough to accommodate 2 of us in another room for the night because they happened to have a spare room available. The hotel is a boutique hotel, and hence, there is a kind of quirkiness to it, which was the main reason we had booked to stay here. Unfortunately, the rate they charged for the Small Double Room that we booked was exorbitant compared to the condition of the rooms. Perhaps the bigger rooms upstairs are better and mor proportionate to the rates. We cannot say for sure. However, for those who have a lot of luggage (we had our ski equipment etc), this is definitely not the hotel for you due to the small space and the fact that there isn't any lift in the building! The staff, however, were excellent and very accommodating.

Expectation Low cost boutique hotel with good reviews across many booking sites so expecting above average experience Positives Customer service - whenever there were issues (of which they were a lot) reception were friendly, attentive and helpful where possible Value - the hotel was very well priced so there is a high demand for rooms Decor - the hotel is nicely decorated and has a great vintage/bohemian feel Undesirable/Strongly Undesirable Wrong allocated room - unfortunately *********** gave us the double room instead of deluxe double room that we booked (this wasn't the hotels fault) Mattress quality - the mattresses are old and collapsed in the middle Noise - there is a loud droning noise coming below room 7 between 9 and 3 pm (i think this is coming from the business/residence underneath so i doubt that the hotel can do anything about this noise?) Also room 1 is directly opposite the lobby so expect noise from other people coming and going from the hotel as well as any conversation that is happening on the first floor of the hotel. Poor drainage - the drainage in room 7 is virtually non-existent and there is no barrier between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, causing the whole bathroom to flood for hours. Unacceptable No hot water - there was no hot water in room 1. We had come from a 8 hour car ride in 37 degree heat so taking a cold shower at night time when we arrived was brutal for us Unauthorised entry - we went for dinner and left the keys with reception. When we came back we found maintenance in our room, without our permission, fixing a tap. We had valuables in the room (there is no safe available) so this obviously was not ideal. Broken bed - our bedframe broke (yes you read this correctly) and our mattress came thudding onto the floor at 9am in the morning while we were still sleeping. It was the worst wake up call imagineable. I assume this is because vintage furniture is old and needs more maintenance than modern furniture. Downgrading our room - when *********** assigned us the wrong room, we didnt blame the hotel. The part that we didn't appreciate was when the hotel owner asked us to downgrade and stay in the double room with no compensation or pay more to stay in more premium room. We felt it was the hotels responsibility to chase *********** for the difference, not the customer to accept a downgrade or pay more for an upgrade.
