The Angel Hotel was perfect for a short City Break. The staff were all great, friendly and professional. Check in and out was simple. The room was ideal, slightly dated but everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower had a good powerful flow. We were only there for one night so the only other service I tried was the Bar. Again the service was first class. The Hotel has a central location just opposite the Castle. I would highly recommend this Hotel and I would definitely book again. Thank you.

We had a great stay at the Angel hotel staff are polite and friendly,lovely food,hotel rooms are amazing stunning features in the hotel ,right in the centre of Cardiff park right outside the door my favourite hotel to stay at been a few times now love it everyone should definitely book to try it

It's very close to the castle, just outside the city wall. You can get a glimpse of the city from the breakfast dining area.
The room is quite spacious, but the wardrobe door and the hot water kettle are a bit old. The wardrobe door cannot be kept open and the hot water kettle looks like a product from the last century.
But the overall accommodation experience is pretty good. At this price and location, I think it's worth it.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing and most importantly it's a walking distance to several beautiful sights in the city.

Got a great deal on a room only basis so room was small but that's ok. Breakfast at £15.50 each was decent value as plenty of choice and catered for gluten free. Car parking at £15 per night was fine too. Hotel itself is starting to show its age but reception, main foyer and bar area were really nice. Staff all very friendly, so would stay again.
