We had to change rooms as a family cos too noisy , the lifts weren’t working and room room was small and very outdated. Won’t stay there again

Angel hotel has more of a home like environment than a hotel. It’s an old building with limited modern facilities. Location is fantastic, breakfast was ok and luxury is limited. The staff were all very friendly and ever ready to help or support.

The hotel is in a great location. It's the only hotel in the UK that changes the sheets on the second day. It's great. The hotel is opposite the castle. Through the castle is the National Museum. Eating, shopping and sightseeing are all within walking distance.

A great hotel. Great location. Had a great stay here would recommend to any travellers to Cardiff. Right in the heart of the city with everything you need and want to see within an easy walk from the hotel.

The hotel is dated. Needs renovation. Located in the center opposite Cardiff Castle and close to the Milenium Stadium. The city was beautifully lit because of the upcoming Christmas party. We had great weather with all days around 17 degrees.

For a single room with a double bed, it was really good value - comfortable, clean and not cramped. This room had a view of the picturesque castle. Service was friendly and helpful. For a three star hotel of vintage decor and architecture, it was pleasantly lit and not dingy and dark. A very convenient location - just a few minutes walk to the castle, the restaurants and other amenities. Will definitely consider booking here again.
