We had the most amazing person serving us, his name is Ash....he went above and beyond to make our afternoon special even though it was on short notice. It was our wedding anniversary and we spontaneously decided to have an afternoon at the One & Only. In all my years of dining I've never received service of this standard....HE IS THE BEST! Thank you Ash for creating the most amazing memories for us in Cape Town. Sending lots of love and will definitely see you soon :-)

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The best we've ever stayed at. Very upscale feel and worth the price. Our room was lovely with a view of Tabletop Mountain from the bathtub. Wow! The marina view is also lovely, and we enjoyed watching the seals play during the day. The food was excellent! The breakfast buffet was beyond anything we've ever seen. Everything was fresh and delicious. The smoothies were amazing. We had room service several times and enjoyed it immensely. They would even call us to ensure we were happy with our order. That's wonderful service! The hotel is spotless. Our room was kept beautifully clean our entire stay and everyone we encountered were so friendly and helpful. We didn't want to leave! Tips - they supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bubble bath, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving cream, loofah, cotton rounds, Q-tips and even a candle to burn during your bath.

We arrived at the hotel on Tuesday morning after an 11-and-a-half-hour flight. We were welcomed by friendly staff with such hospitality that they carried our suitcases to our island view apartment while we checked in. The staff was very professional and helpful, and we were shown around the hotel by one of the staff and then taken to our island view apartment by electric buggy and were greeted by a friendly security guard who looks after our part of the holiday island. We arrived at our room; wow, it's an open plan apartment with a balcony and rainfall shower. There is a very big TV on the wall and a sprite bar and also cold drinks in the fridge below, as well as snacks and soft drinks which you pay for. There are some complimentary flapjack bites and fresh fruit topped up every day, as well as free large bottled water. You also get your bed turned down for you and you also get some bottles of water for the night as well as personal touches from the housekeeping team. There are free coffee pods and tea also and an assortment of hygiene items as well as fresh towels daily. There is shower gel and moisturizer as well as a toothbrush and razor. The food is first class and drinks are all affordable prices.we had bed and breakfast which was excelent and also the bar snacks where 1st class. Athony & marco the two barmen were excellent .and veiws are to die for but i wont ruin it for you .

One & Only is the best hotel we have ever experienced. There is no request too small, and nothing you could ever want for at this hotel. You are very well looked after by the amazing staff and everything you could ever want for is provided without asking. The building is incredibly appointed with local design and artwork. The staff is the most friendly and accommodating that we have ever experienced. The location is close to the amazing shopping and food of the waterfront. You will feel very safe in the surrounding area and have easy access to the airport and important landmarks of the city. It is well with the price of admission and cannot be topped.

We really enjoyed our stay, we haven’t visited for a few years and must say the refurbished rooms are beautiful. I love the thoughtful biscuits and fruit supplied as well as the linen spray at night and little notes beside the bed….all lovely touches. The best are the do not disturb ‘doll’ and the make up the room feather duster. The staff are amazing and the breakfast good. Hopefully we can return again soon

Cape Town is a very beautiful location and this hotel is very well located! As always one & only provided the most delightful hotels and resorts. The heated pool was a key feature and even though it was cool weather the pool was really warm and it was beautifully maintained. The restaurants were great and the staff attended to all elements of the conference I attended with attention to detail. Great stay. Thank you.
