Antrim House by Totalstay

I would not recommend this hotel. I had money stolen from my luggage inside my room while I was out for the day. I reported the theft to management and filed a police report at the station nearby. Hotel management said they would open an investigation and take the matter seriously. I followed up by email for over two months and the manager said the investigation was ongoing, but later never responded with any answers or resolutions. I chose this hotel based on ratings and location, but would not trust the numeric ratings and should have read more closely into the reviews. Additionally, the rooms were not cleaned well upon check-in or daily. The photos online made the property look nicer and bigger than in reality.

Excellent rooms with excellent staff. Great location close to the city but not in the city. Loved my stay at Antrim House.

The staff were amazing, so warm and helpful. Most comfortable large bed, amazing sleep. Lovely decorated rooms and lounge areas. Breakfast was cooked everyday for us and our family couldn't have asked for more in terms of options. The chillout area is open plan and relaxing, the internet was fast with the luxury of a plunge pool in the back, also parking out front. Hiring of the bicycles to cycle around Sea point and the Waterfront.

Love everything about Antrim House. Well located, clean rooms. Always great service. I book once a week. Great value. Terence, the GM is always professional and very helpful. Ethan and the team are friendly and welcoming.I love it.

It is the perfect place to stay when exploring Cape Town. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly. If you stay in the rooms next to the main room/breakfast area then you will hear when breakfast is being prepared so if you are planning to sleep in then you may want to ask for a room at the back of the house instead. If would have been great if there had been another choice of bread available for breakfast as the bread on offer was a bit boring, but the fruit salad was excellent.

….We purchased an “Antrim.Collection” Buffet Breakfast voucher from HYPERLI and to secure a booking an email address was supplied. Within the hour of clicking the send button there was a reply from Terence Duckitt one of the managers saying that they could not accommodate us on our preferred date. This immediate-lii showed that here we are dealing with a company that is serious about what they stand for and within another hour we had a booking confirmation on a date and time to visit and to redeem our voucher and enjoy what we purchased. On our arrival at the venue we were bowled-over by what we encountered. A clean well maintained impressive building with a locked gate which is very assuring that safety is important and furthermore once behind the gate was the stairway to the restaurant and the love-lii wooden-deck where the meals are served. We were met and welcomed by “ETHAN” what an impressive gentleman who exudes professionalism, to us he is an asset to this establishment, he made us feel as if we were royalty and explained in detail how the process worked and where the English breakfast table was to be found, there was fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, various cheeses, cold-meats, fresh tomato & cucumbers slices muesli and of course croissants. Ethan then offered us a drink of our choice coffee, orange-juice or a cream-ii cappuccino and we opted for the cappuccino which turned out to be mega ones, how delightful. The hot breakfast meal which consist of eggs of your choice, sausage, bacon, sauté mushrooms & fried cherrie-tomato is prepared right in front of you in a nifty kitchenette by a friend-lii lady. We had a thorough relaxed and unforgettable escapade here and will true-lii recommend this establishment to all out there, do make it a point to visit here in the future…..NB!
