"We arrived tired and hungry and were given a beautiful welcome. The room was perfect, bed comfortable, great views. The property is gorgeous, with views of Tyrrhenian Sea and the Parco Nazionale del Cilento. The owners suggested an incredible dinner at Porto Sirena, where we tried buffalo and mozzarella from their farm and this region. We enjoyed walking the grounds and a delicious, freshly made breakfast."

Paestum Inn Beach Resort

"The hotel impresses with its very friendly staff and outstanding cleanliness – both the rooms and the entire grounds were spotless. The location directly on the beach is ideal, and the inclusion of sun loungers and parasols is a major plus. The breakfast buffet was also good. However, the hotel's own restaurant was a drawback: the food was overpriced and the portions quite small. We recommend eating in Agropoli instead. Another point to be aware of, though not the hotel's fault, is the presence of numerous buffalo farms in the area, which made the smell quite strong and bothersome in some places."

"Wonderful fully renovated boutique hotel right next to the Temples in Paestum and the little museum. The most pleasant comfortable room we have found on our Italian vacation! Everything was perfect, the bed, pillows, towels, bathroom, all top quality! The staff was so welcoming and helpful in every way! They made us feel right at home! Dinner was delicious! We cannot recommend Kalos Paestum hotel enough and will surely come back! Thank you Emilia!"

"Except for the location and the breakfast, the rest is pretty average. Most of the rooms are outdated, Air Conditioning is basically not existing (the lowest temperature in the room that we were able to get was 26C/79F, and that was in the middle of the night, 28/82 during the day with shades on so forget the ocean view), and they won’t even supply you with a simple fan to compensate for it. Private beach is nice, but if there is one thing we will remember of this place is the constant sweat and the inability to cool off anywhere, even in our own room."

B&B la Chora di Paestum

"We enjoyed our 1-night stay here. The B&B is within short walking distance from the archeological park. The owner was very nice and friendly and recommended some restaurants for dinner (even though communication was hard as we don't speak Italian and the owner speaks no English). Breakfast was very good, and some special requests were happily accommodated. Our only problem was that both in the evening and the morning, there wasn't enough hot water in the room even for a single, short shower."
