Tenuta Duca Marigliano Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is a bit far from the train station, but it is convenient to drive. There is a small parking lot. The hotel is a bit old (or do they want to deliberately do old?), breakfast is delicious, the hotel facilities are small and beautiful. Very close to the site, this is a big advantage."
Hotel le Palme ★★★★
"We stopped at the Le Palme hotel, to break up a long holiday trip, also taking advantage of an offer on the price of the room. We found a hotel with highly professional and kind staff, perfectly in line with the 4 stars assigned. The room was very spacious, with an adequate bathroom. The same offer also included an umbrella and two sunbeds on the hotel's beach, which we gladly took advantage of given the beautiful beach. Nice stay, unfortunately for only one night."
L'Orologio Bed & Breakfast ★★★★
"We were in the "clock tower" for the second time - and will come back. The price/performance ratio is convinced, breakfast is OK. (Italy keeps) the holder is friendly, the small place is just nice. There are at least 2 restaurants in foot distance where you can really eat well."
Hotel Almas ★★★
"We start with the strengths: the common parts of the hotel (breakfast, outdoor, reception and corridors) are clean and very clean, probably recently renovated. Breakfast is not very different but with excellent products, even without gluten. We had booked two rooms, one four-and one five-fold. When we arrived at 8.30 in the morning, they were kind to let us leave all the bags in the four-fold because the five-fold wasn't ready. When he returned from the sea, around 19.30, the fifth was not ready yet; he had no fifth bed, no fifth shower box and no refrigerator in the suitable furniture. After a while they came to bring the bed and the refrigerator, the fifth ever arrived. We had to connect the refrigerator to the current by force (as required by the same serviceman who brought it to the room) on the grip to get a schuko into a "normal" grip. The room was very dirty, and both the entrance ceiling and the bathroom ceiling had inconfundable muffa spots, the bathroom was blind and without a vacuum cleaner (if there was any system, it was not anyway), So already at the second consecutive shower (we were in five) a tropical climate was formed. Our friends in the four-folds did not go much better, because they found towels with old, probably bloody, never treated and the air conditioning unmodulable; they preferred to shut it off and suffer warm (in these days the temperature is up to 40 degrees) rather than a bronchitis. "
Hotel Cerere ★★★★
"I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I felt incredibly compelled to leave one for Hotel Cerere. We booked a package holiday with an airline and once we arrived, we were greeted by hotel staff who had friendly smiles. One lady checked us in and requested I send my hotel voucher across, absolutely no issue. She then showed us to our room and gave us a wifi code. The wifi was shocking, but being on holiday we didn’t care too much for it. We tried to turn the air-con on and eventually figured it out (all doors/windows have to be closed, it says this in the manual left in the room) but the air-con didn’t actually cool the room down, just the area by the door and it still only blew air out at 24°C, even though we changed it to 20°C as that’s the lowest it said it would go. When a 4-star hotel promises air-con, you’d hope it would work. We went to the pool outside the main hotel which was nice and came up to just below my shoulders (I’m 5ft 9inches). The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast, the waiting staff were nice and there was a good selection of pastries, cheese, bread and an omelette station (this is the same everyday). The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, and although there is a shuttle we weren’t informed of times or how to use this service. We explored the other pool which is near the residence, and we definitely preferred this one, completely down to personal preference, but it was deeper (my 6ft3 partner couldn’t touch the bottom) and we could properly swim in this pool, it also had a diving board. Our room also got cleaned everyday by the cleaning staff who were absolutely lovely, I cannot fault them. This is unfortunately where the positives end. The communication from the front desk staff was not great, the food you could order from the pool bar was not good, and we felt judged every time we walked through the lobby like we didn’t belong there. When it came to checking out, we got to the front desk expecting to pay for the drinks from the mini-fridge and the tourist tax, however we got told to pay nearly €1600. As said previously, we had booked a package holiday and had already paid for the room through our holiday team. The front desk staff didn’t seem to understand this even though I had sent them the voucher that they had asked for! Eventually another staff member got called in to deal with the situation and it was eventually sorted but it was not how we wanted to end our holiday."
Hotel Villa Rita ★★★
"Fabulous hotel, great food and wonderful swimming pool. Also a short walk to Paestum ruins, one of the best historical sites I’ve seen. Also, the staff were helpful and pleasant"
Hotel Royal Paestum ★★★★
"The hotel was newly built, clean, and the friendly staff made my trip enjoyable."
Oleandri Resort Paestum ★★★★
"A brilliant place to hold an Indian family wedding. My daughter just got married there. The staff were supportive and helpful. The beach club location was fantastic. Held the wedding and the Haldi ceremony there. The weather was fantastic. Food was fantastic and sourced from the locality. The resort is also a brilliant place to relax."
Borgo La Pietraia ★★★★
"Nestled in a hillside with stunning panoramic views of the Cilento Coast is just where the magic starts. Spacious & comfortable accommodations along with delicious food allow for an amazing experience. The Borgo is the perfect place to serve as a home base while you explore this part of Italy! "

"Really high quality!!! Everything from food service!! High recommend!!!"
Villa Vimani
Paestum Inn Beach Resort
"I like it there. It's a quiet location with a nice sandy beach and plenty of sunbeds. The staff is helpful, parking is free and plentiful, and there's a good restaurant on-site along with a decent breakfast, a bar and a pool. Clean rooms. The WiFi is a bit slow, and the air conditioning isn't very efficient."
Kalos Paestum Hotel
"Wonderful fully renovated boutique hotel right next to the Temples in Paestum and the little museum. The most pleasant comfortable room we have found on our Italian vacation! Everything was perfect, the bed, pillows, towels, bathroom, all top quality! The staff was so welcoming and helpful in every way! They made us feel right at home! Dinner was delicious! We cannot recommend Kalos Paestum hotel enough and will surely come back! Thank you Emilia!"
PrimeQuerce
"Everything was perfect. Fabio and Anna Maria was first class. Beautiful place, superb breakfast and great value for money."
Parco Dei Principi
"I did not stay in the Hotel but in the holiday home near it; despite this I spent all my days and evenings on the beach of the Hotel Parco dei Principi. I met Giacomo and Monica, two wonderful guys, always smiling, energetic and with so much passion who manage to actively animate the days and evenings, involving adults and children. Giacomo and Monica are able to involve without being intrusive, they manage to create wonderful relationships with people and always bring a smile. I am grateful to them for having made me live two fantastic weeks, I hope to meet them again one day. (Alissa and Ilaria)"
B&B la Chora di Paestum
"We enjoyed our 1-night stay here. The B&B is within short walking distance from the archeological park. The owner was very nice and friendly and recommended some restaurants for dinner (even though communication was hard as we don't speak Italian and the owner speaks no English). Breakfast was very good, and some special requests were happily accommodated. Our only problem was that both in the evening and the morning, there wasn't enough hot water in the room even for a single, short shower."
Savoy Hotel & Spa - Preferred Hotels & Resorts
"Newish hotel with a very positive attitude and good facilities.Beach club 10mins walk or hourly shuttle, for beach, lunch, refreshments and changing. Very good onsite pool and recreational facilities. It is the first Italian hotel that I have been to where an ongoing wedding is not intrusive to guests. The bedrooms were clean and tactfully well serviced . There is are formal and informal restaurants and plenty of choice locally although a taxi is required."
Camping Village Mare Pineta
Hotel Schuhmann
"we stayed here with a Tour Group for one night while visiting the three Greek Temples in Paestum. My stay was delightful, the Hotel is clean, including the room. I was in room 308 - see photos - very comfortable, with a balcony and a view of the Mediterranean Sea. I slept well in my King-Size Bed. The following morning, we had Breakfast here. A very large selection of Breakfast items. The Hotel also has a very beautiful sand beach. I recommend staying here. The staff is very friendly."
Casale Giancesare Villa Agricola
"Just beautiful. The location, the view, the hospitality were faultless. Nothing was too much trouble, from restaurant recommendations and reservations to places to visit. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast with a stunning view each morning. Pool was glorious. Rooms were clean, comfortable and full of Italian charm. Excellent base for Paestum archeological site."
