From the service to the friendliness, this was truly the best accommodation in Alberta! It was on a whole other level than what I've experienced in other areas. Their welcome cookies and tea set were enough to melt the heart of a weary traveler. I highly recommend this place.

I booked it because of the good reviews. Some of the rooms in the photos don't have desks and stools, so I specifically wanted a room with a desk and stool. The room is quite big, but I can't complain about it. It's next to the front desk on the first floor. Although there is a small door outside the room, the sound insulation under the double door is barely OK. After 10 o'clock, the surrounding area is basically quiet, but around 6 o'clock in the morning, the surrounding area starts to get noisy, and there are many cars on the road outside.

It's not the most central location in Canmore, but it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the busy area.
The room is very unique, with many small furnishings, but a little dusty
receiptionist is nice

Old English deco hotel, cozy and comfortable. Kind gesture with homemade cookies and tea served in our room. Seemed to have a long history and heritage hotel. Hotel restaurant served nice fish and chips!!

It looks pretty in The photos, but I wanted to book at The Georgetown Inn in Washington, DC, and the platform showed me this B&B. The exact same name resulted in me booking the most expensive room in the hotel but getting no service and swallowing all my money.

We were a large group of 13 who arrived without a booking. We were accommodated in a side room which was great. The food was good and came reasonably quickly given the size of our party. The only thing that left a sour taste was the waitress at the end of the night refused to answer when we asked if the tip had already been added to the bill. It had been but we felt we were being pressured to add an additional 18%. Her attitude was not good and we wouldn't return. We're quite happy to give a tip but a waitress refusing to answer a direct question about the tip left us feeling uncomfortable.

Great bar and is a a piece of Canadian history, great artifacts and things to read. Great food and fantastic staff. A great bar to socialize and have a pint.
