Paradise Resort Club and Spa

Will never stay here again. Parking is limited, BBQ on the deck is insulting, one ice machine available for the entire facility, traffic noise from the highway was unbearable, and the air conditioning in our suite was useless. And those are just a few items which make this resort a bad experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The apartment was beautiful. We enjoyed the stay and would be willing to spend the whole vacation at such a place. There are some unique issues with the property, but if you are patient they work themselves out. Be sure to ask a lot of questions when booking so there are no surprises.

Do not stay here - unless you want to stay in a worn out building will TERRIBLE service. The timeshare is basic and clean, but to be honest a decent room and location can't make up for terrible service. This timeshare is listed as a Premier Resort but it is NOT. Paradise Resort Club manages a few units inside the very worn out Grand Canadian Resort Vacation Club which Interval says is Select. The result is that no matter what you need in your unit, the staff to whom you are speaking is not almost certainly not connected with Paradise Resort Club, and cannot provide fresh pool towels or garbage bags, or anything else you might need. Our family group of 10 people booked 2 two bedroom units for a long awaited week-long family get together. Because Paradise Resort Club only manages a few units, we were placed on different floors, and at different ends of this endless complex. This was a problem for the elderly and the very young in our group, who had difficulty finding their way from one unit to the other. Each unit had 4 shabby, small pool towels and these we were expected to launder during our stay. The pool was fun, and the kids enjoyed it, but the adults were constantly rounding up towels and ‘running a load’ because 4 fresh pool towels came at a cost of $25.00 per day. I spoke to Paradise Resort Club management and said this was unacceptable. They agreed to switch out the towels once a day for us at no cost, if we brought the used ones to the Reception desk, which was located a 5 minute walk across a windswept parking lot, in another building. They would not bring the fresh towels to our unit. We washed towels at a Premier Resort. Guest satisfaction just wasn't important at all to this establishment. We won't be back and I would recommend you stay anywhere else.

If your room is near the lobby, it can be noisy at times, other than that the condo and stay were great!

This property was very good for my family. The 2 bedrooms made sleeping arrangements really easy and convenient for us. My kids absolutely LOVED the pool! The unit itself was nice, but a little run down. The panel in front of the bathtub kept falling off. It did not affect the function of the tub (although we did not try the jets just in case) but aesthetically it wasn’t nice. The coffee pot was very clearly brand new, which was awesome, but the coffee they provided wasn’t enough for a full pot of coffee. The lamp next to the bed would turn on and off, but was broken and would spin around if knocked, and the lamp in the kids room would also turn on, but the switch was broken and almost looked like it would electrocute you. These are all minor things in an otherwise very nice stay. The kitchen provides you with everything you could need, the beds were comfortable, the fireplace was so nice and the staff was super accommodating. There’s also a games room that was super cool. If my kids were older we probably would've spent more time there. It’s in a great location and near lots of food places and coffee shops. All in all we would stay here again.
