"Worst hotel ever !"

"I picked this hotel with Jet2 as I wanted somewhere quiet after the very recent death of my Dad and it cost me quite a lot of money being a solo traveller so I was expecting A LOT….i was SO disappointed. Firstly, the room. It seems the rooms Jet2 are offered are in a semi-circle that receive NO sun at all. I was horrified at the room I was taken to. It was dreary, damp (there was an oil heater in there) and I suffer with arthritis in both knees and hip and no way was I staying in there! I had stayed in better 2 star hotel rooms travelling thru Spain. I was moved after a lot of discussion, to what they made out to be a far ‘superior’ room (trust me it wasn’t), but at least it got the sun, even though one of the windows wouldn’t even open. The bathroom was something out of the 1980’s as was the shower and the riser was broke which meant I had to stoop in the shower for the whole 11 days! The hotel mostly caters for Germans, so NOBODY dresses for dinner ( and the restaurant doesn’t have that ‘vibe’ anyway!) The swimming pool is NOT heated! I never saw anyone ‘brave it the whole time I was there. The spa is VERY dated! I wouldn’t even use the facilities after my (okay) massage. The plus side is the gardens, which are spectacular and the total peace and quiet…. Is it a 4 Star Hotel that I paid just shy of £2k for 11 days half board. No way. Will I be back. I think you might already have guessed the answer to that!"

"This hotel was a huge disappointment. I have no idea how it got a 4-star rating. On the positive side, the view is lovely, and the room was clean (apart from the ants everywhere). The staff answered questions, breakfast was decent, and the gym was incredibly well-equipped, though I couldn't use it because the ventilation was completely non-existent. I felt like I'd pass out after just 10 minutes of checking out the equipment. As for the negatives: the room lacked basic amenities (only soap was provided). If you go to reception and ask for anything, they'll send you to the gym where you can get slippers for 5 euros a day. On the first night, the air conditioning wasn't cooling, and despite it being January, it was incredibly stuffy. There were ants all over the room, even in the fridge. Check-in was a nightmare – if you arrive by car and park in the always-full lot in front of the hotel to unload your luggage, the staff won't allow it, let alone offer to help. They told me I could only leave the car for 5 minutes while they processed papers, but wouldn't let me take my bags to the room, nor did they offer to have hotel staff bring them up while I looked for parking. They told me to leave my belongings in the lobby and go find paid parking wherever I could. They gave me a confusing parking map that was impossible to decipher in a second, and said the nearest parking was by a shop, where there were no free spots. I ended up driving around the area. They never mentioned the parking on the other side of the hotel, which offers easy access directly to the lifts. So, if you decide to stay here, there are both free and paid parking spots down the street to the right of the hotel (the paid parking is cheap)."

"A beautiful setting with outstanding restaurant & stunning views. Staff in hotel and restaurant were both very friendly and provided great suggestions and ideas on the area and things to see. Truly a memorable location I hope to be a return guest."

"We loved our stay. Great views, facilities and above all service. So in our opinion a wonderfull spot to explore the island. The manta diving is a very cool option. Their swimming pools and sea entrances are amazing for snorkling . Nothing but love for Galomar Sentido."
