A pleasant stay. We received a room upgrade to ocean view which was lovely. Good size spacious rooms and comfortable bed.
Amenities at the sister hotel next door were better than ours but because you can access both, this was not an issue.
Friendly, helpful staff and good food from the three restaurants we tried. All inclusive drinks in our package were local and not very enjoyable - this would be my only gripe!

The resort is old and extremely difficult to navigate. However, is very clean and very well taken care of. The beach is great. Hector the bell man was terrific and Israel in the Italian restaurant was great.
Overall the food was terrible. And Tania at the desk was worthless.

The atmosphere of the two hotels, GR Cave and Royal Solaris, is different, and I had a really great time because I could use both. I highly recommend it for a family trip!

The price/performance ratio is good, but for me, all-inclusive hotels are equal in terms of food and accommodation. On Christmas Eve, there were no seats available in the restaurant, so I had to queue up for the buffet. The quality of the buffet is really not good, basically at the level of 50.60 in China.
So if you don't care about food and drink, staying here is a very cost-effective choice.
