City Express Junior by Marriott Cancun Reviews

I recently stayed at the City Express Junior by Marriott in Cancun, and overall, I was very pleased with my experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable from the start. I also loved how conveniently located it was—just a short distance from shopping centers and popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The service stood out as well; the staff members were friendly and always ready to help with directions or recommendations. Although the rooms were on the smaller side, they had everything I needed for a short stay. The amenities, including the breakfast area and common spaces, were well-kept and made for a pleasant environment to relax in. My only minor complaint is that the walls seemed a bit thin, so I occasionally heard noise from the hallway. However, it wasn’t enough to significantly affect my stay. Overall, I’d recommend City Express Junior by Marriott Cancun to travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and budget-friendly option in the city. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Cancun!

Horrible experience, the hotel was nightmare and when we checked in after long flight - the bedsheets were humid and wet and seemed like the bedding was just replaced before our check in. The room was dirty and breakfast was poor options.

Not a bad chain hotel, clean, normal breakfast, good location, the only downside is the loud air conditioning.

The front desk was very noisy. I was woken up at around 5 o'clock. This is normal for a budget hotel.

The hotel was very old, the air conditioning was leaking and very noisy. I got to the counter and was asked to pay again. The buffet was very unsatisfactory.

The reception wasn't good. Trip hadn't sent the reservation payment to the hotel, and the reception staff wouldn't give me the room. After that little problem was fixed, the air conditioning in my room was noisier than an airplane's turbines. The walls were cracked, the sheets stained.

Very nice room, Cancun is a great place

City Express is considered a mid-level hotel in Mexico. It is not bad in terms of hygiene, fully equipped and well-equipped, and the price is very affordable. This hotel is basically found in every prefecture-level city in Mexico.

Hello! I made my reservation on the app and it turns out that the hotel did not have it registered due to problems in the system and they asked me for a cash deposit for the amount of the reservation value, which bothered me since I was really making a double payment because They had already deducted it from my card and they told me that it was over at night and they would return it to me, which did not happen when I arrived. The room was full of water because of the air conditioning, I went down to ask the person at the reception for someone to come clean and his response was that he was alone, that he couldn't go and clean and that he couldn't change my room either because Everything was full, he didn't give a solution and I had to sleep with the entire floor wet. The room smelled very damp since I arrived. The access they gave me for the Wi-Fi connection didn't work either, so to see about the water and the Wi-Fi and anything else you would need to go down to reception because the phone they have there is no more than a decoration. The next day I had to leave early, I asked for my deposit and they didn't give it to me because they still hadn't registered my reservation and they made me wait there for an hour, I had to leave and I couldn't because they didn't resolve anything and I had to leave and come back again to the hotel so that after half an hour they would return my deposit. It was a very unpleasant experience due to all the waiting time, the bad service and the lack of ability to resolve issues on the part of the staff. Since I was going to work and had things to do and they complicated my entire itinerary. I don't recommend it at all.

Good location, especially good option in price and quality of facilities. We use it as a rest hotel and the next day continue with an international trip.
