Hotel Canandaigua, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We picked the hotel for its location, it overlooks the lake and has great views. The room is decent. They could have a better ventilation, as it gets pretty suffocated especially when the windows are closed. Breakfast service was very slow. There were only two people managing a full house. Gym is decent. The hotel staff is friendly. Food is decent. They could do better with the complimentary coffee they provide in the lobby in mornings.

I haven't stayed in a hotel in a really long time because of AirBnb. I was hoping to be "wowed" by a $500 a night room. Everything was nice and clean, though there were stains on the carpet and the windows were dirty. The front desk staff were nice, especially Chelsea. The pool was great. The proximity to the lake was amazing. It's a shame they charge for parking when they have a huge lot.

Our room had a balcony with an excellent view of the lake. The staff was very accommodating. From our balcony we saw exceptional fireworks for the 4th of July.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Hotel Canandaigua! The hotel manager, Melissa Oliver was fantastic. She ensured our trip was everything we could hope for. Alexa at the front desk checked us in and always waved and smiled when she saw us during our stay. Becky and Harmony made great drinks and were so much fun at the bar. Jeff at the night desk and Kevin checking us out were more than we could ask for as far as being very accommodating! We had so much fun walking into town, with a wine tasting and excellent restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub with the somewhat cool temperatures. Also had a blast with the party on the patio, danced to a great 80's band, real Pirates were in attendance (lol) and free vodka and beer tastings. We could not have asked for a better getaway! Hilton Canandaigua all the way!

The room was very large but, like most newer hotels, it lacked comfort. The couch and chair were both stiff and uncomfortable. The room had no place where one could read a book. There was a standing floor lamp but no chair next to it. The restaurant never changed its menu in three nights. The room in the Hampton Inn in Williamsville was four times as comfortable.
