"We picked the hotel for its location, it overlooks the lake and has great views. The room is decent. They could have a better ventilation, as it gets pretty suffocated especially when the windows are closed. Breakfast service was very slow. There were only two people managing a full house. Gym is decent. The hotel staff is friendly. Food is decent. They could do better with the complimentary coffee they provide in the lobby in mornings."

"Karen is my all-time favorite innkeeper. She not only has a lovely B &B with great breakfasts, but she also knows just how much to socialize with her guests and how much to leave them on their own. Of course, it helps that she is such a likable person to begin with. I do hope we'll get back to Canandaigua for several reasons, but mostly to enjoy a stay again at Oliver Phelps."

"A beautiful farmhouse in a gorgeous setting away from the hustle and bustle of life. Only three rooms and the owners are most accommodating. We were served a lovely breakfast. There are multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy and a pond that youcan walk down the hill to where there are chairs to relax. We will definitely return if we are in the area again."
