Super 8 by Wyndham Canandaigua

It is by far the best experience among it's competitors for the rate of pay and by far the best choice to stay with. The staff, hospitality and Cleanliness make the professionallism here at Super 8 more than just a stay at a hotel.

Bunch of snakes. Cancelled our booking a week before without telling us. They didn't care that we drove 5 hours from Canada. Had to pay $750 night at a Hilton as no other hotels had rooms! Clearly rooms were under construction. Another patron said he just got a room through CPS, so they kicked us out as they could get more money from the gov than our Ticketmaster booking. Many other problems too. So messed up that we have a case going with the police. Still haven't got our money back also despite them cancelling us. Absolute joke. You'd be better sleeping in a ditch.

BEWARE – Do NOT Stay at This Property! This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and Wyndham’s response made it even more disappointing. The property is poorly maintained — our room smelled bad and was dirty. On top of that, our toilet overflowed. We immediately asked to be moved but were told the property was “full.” Instead, the front desk clerk came up with an old mop that barely cleaned anything. When I went back down to request towels to soak up the mess, I was handed a pile of dirty, wet towels. The carpet was left soaked and nothing was done to properly resolve the issue. We were told the manager would be notified in the morning, but when we checked out, the new clerk argued with me and said he wasn’t aware of any issues and didn’t have authority to refund our stay. I asked for the manager’s name but was told he couldn’t provide it. I also requested a call from the property manager, which never came. Filing a complaint with Wyndham was equally useless — they told me I’d have to deal with the property manager directly, who never returned any of my calls. For over $200 a night, this was an absolutely unacceptable experience. The lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and accountability is shocking. STAY AWAY from this property!

The Wyndham h.as by far the most dirty, no breakfast and also the worst rooms. The furniture is in sad shape . If it had not been a torrential rainstorm, we would never had stayed there. If Wyndham is that bad off, they should rebrand or lose all customers. I was disgusted with the exterior and the interior had ripped curtains and numerous other gross things. I do not recommend ANY Wyndham location. Unfortunately it seems to be ok to offer services and then you arrive and see the mess.

Run from this place. It’s so disgusting. Rug in the room was black with dirt and sticky. Dusty sheets and mold. Smelled so bad too. Junkies living in the building.
