Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel

The Sheraton brand is fine. The bed is big, soft and comfortable. The room is big. It takes 10 minutes to drive here after picking up the car at the airport. There are many restaurants around downstairs. I am very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel's featured water slide is especially suitable for families with children. It seems that Canadian hotels do not provide slippers and toothbrushes. It is very inconvenient to go barefoot. The carpet is very prickly and unhygienic. This hotel provides two bottles of mineral water, and the room also has convenient coffee and tea. There is no breakfast by default when booking. Extra breakfast is $18 for adults and $12 for children. The continental breakfast has few varieties and the quality is okay. If you don't eat breakfast in the hotel, you can buy food at McDonald's and Wendy's chain stores nearby. The location is very close to the airport and you can't hear the noise of airplanes, but this is a pet-friendly hotel. The dog on the same floor gets up very early and barks in the corridor. I have a light sleep and was woken up by the barking of the dog. The overall hardware of the hotel is good, and the service is satisfactory. The room manager, an Indian-looking guy, doesn't seem to smile much, but the white guy at the front desk has a good attitude.

The room is clean and tidy, arranged on the second floor, with a direct door to the water rides. There is a formal restaurant, a bar restaurant, and a breakfast shop on the first floor of the hotel, all of which are very good. The price is affordable and not far from the airport. Staying here during the peak tourist season can save a lot when going to Banff.
