No service in this place. Things were beyond our reasonable expectation.

Outdated. People still in pool past midnight. Service not great.

The hotel is very basic and quite run down.

A very average hotel, not a good experience, but at this price it is considered a cheap hotel in Cairns. The hotel does not have an elevator, but parking is not a problem.

I felt that it was a very good point that there was a railroad crossing of the Kuranda Railway nearby and I could see the train up close. Also, there is a convenience store nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble living.

The receptionists were very nice, kind and polite. There was a pool in the middle of the hotel, and it was nice to be able to spend time watching the children having fun.

This place should not be called a resort it is one of tge worst hotels ive stayed at. No glasses,tiny TV.old cheap curtains,reception was closed at 4.00pm so nobody to greet you as you arrived,f/kin joke.A backpackers would be a better facility

I was drawn in by the price and the fact that there was little else available. The pool is nice but the rooms are dreadful- filthy ( see photos). The restaurant has been closed down by the health department too-don’t be tempted- you’ll be very sorry. I don’t think this accommodation should be offered to anyone at any price. Doesn’t deserve even one star.

Dust on walls, fans, etc. Extremely unclean. Used sanitary pads, soap, etc left in bathroom. Dirt and water on bathroom floor. Had not been cleaned. Mould on walls and blinds. Barely any privacy. Loud and looking over a trainline. We stay at plenty of budget accomodation in our travels. This was out of the question. Felt extremely unsafe and dirty with my young family there. Looked like the place was being run as short term accomodation or a halfway house. Do not stay here. Pay an extra $20 and go somewhere else if you value your family.

We booked this on the night of arrival. The office was closed, but the owner was very quick to respond. He gave us a late checkout, which was very welcome after a trying days travel. Good, comfortable sleep, and after checkout we were able to leave our luggage there. There is a noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the room needs some maintenance, but overall a good place to stay.

We had trouble booking for a last minute medical appointment and Crystal Garden was unfortunately available. The $270/night room was filthy dirty. We opened the balcony door and there were dirty sheets and blankets lying all along the dirty balcony. the basin was cracked in the bathroom, the Laminex benches were stained. The air- conditioner worked well but wouldn't turn off when it got cool, so I got a blanket from the wardrobe and found patches of unknown substances smeared on it. This was rejected obviously so cold all night. The restaurant advertised was closed from August. This was not a good experience.

Quelle fut notre déception, dès notre arrivée à l’accueil (à laquelle personne n’était présent), le groom nous demande de payer la navette pour aller à l’aéroport 10$ par personne alors qu’il est explicitement indiqué qu’elle coûte 5$… Aucune information donnée concernant les lieux, nous avons été obligés de toutes les demander (où est le petit-déjeuner, la salle de sport…). La chambre : nous avions demandé un queen bed, nous avons eu deux lits collés. Ce qui rend la nuit très inconfortable quand vous avez le dos entre les deux. La poussière n’était pas faite ! Des grosses taches étaient présentes un peu partout. Le mobilier n’était lui, pas bien fixé. Le ventilateur était dégoûtant ! Nous n’avons pas pu utiliser la piscine qui n’était entretenue ! La salle de sport n’avait pas de climatisation qui fonctionnait… elle était salle et avait des matelas en plein milieu. Elle sentait mauvais et les tapis d’entraînement étaient très sales !!! Parlons du « petit déjeuner ». Je pense que le simple fait de regarder les photos vous donnera une idée de l’expérience désagréable que nous avons eue le matin. Les produits ne semblaient pas frais et sentaient mauvais. De plus, le prix de 15$ par personne est excessif en vue de la qualité et quantité au niveau du choix. Impossible de contacter le manager, je vous conseille de fuir cet endroit à tout prix !
